  1. The madness ends for good after Week 17, so they're trying to squeeze every last drop of him they can. Plus, I think they're just looking for excuses to keep Ed Werder employed.
  2. You're right. My bad. Apparently I had the formula wrong: (Interceptions + Touchdowns + Number of times someone mentioned you had poise + Wins) / how many erections you gave Jon Gruden
  3. Wasn't this argument also "used" during the Orton vs. Grossman days? (Orton just wins, he should be starting!) Heck, I don't know. I'm not a Bears fan yo. What I do know is that Mark Sanchez led the league last year in Rookie Quarterback Poise. It was the second highest RQP rating since Peyton Manning in 1998.
  4. According to what? Most sub-30 QB rating games this year? Most interceptions thrown this year? Cutler has a much higher completion percentage, higher yards/attempt, 1 more TD and a higher QB rating. running joke Ah. Something from the Bears game threads, I assume? Yup. Why can't some of you admit Sanchez is just a winner who wins games?
  5. Petrino's got too much integrity to just up and leave.
  6. Yeah, Washington is awful.
  7. Agreed. Winners just win. It's just like in baseball. You would obviously much prefer a pitcher that's 20-10 with a 5.67 ERA over a pitcher who is 6-19 with a 1.21 ERA because the first pitcher makes the pitches needed to get wins games for his team. Exactly. A guy who wins 20 games is consistently consistent.
  8. When you talk about Mark Sanchez, you talk about a winner. All this guy has done for the past two seasons is win. Is he flashy? No. But when you need a big play, you expect Sanchez to make that play.
  9. I think there is plenty of doubt. Is Derek Jeter the greatest ball player I've ever seen in my lifetime? No doubt.
  10. WTF? This is [expletive]. I wanted Nebraska. Why would the Insight pass on them? It makes no sense. An Iowa/Nebraska game would be sold out by tonight and would get higher tv ratings than Iowa/Mizzou. Settle down, hoss. Iowa will get their chance next year.
  11. Rams and Seahawks have just two winnable games left...and one of them is against each other.
  12. This is the best atmosphere ever.
  13. Do you really believe this? All that smoke and no fire... Y'all happen to get the #1's from MS, AK, LA, FL's #3 player, GA's #5 and the top JUCO player and it's totally because Auburn is just that badass and Chizik is such a draw. C'mon. I'm no Auburn honk, but weirder things happen. Like the best basketball players in the country wanting to play in Lawrence, KS.
  14. The organization made up their mind about dealing Ryan two months ago.
  15. Ugh. There's no other team in baseball, other than the Cardinals, that has a manager who is really the GM. That would be dandy if he was good at evaluating personnel, but he's not. This is shaping up to be a La Russa Wet Dream: scrappiness in right field (Jay), scrappiness up the middle (Theriot and Schumaker) and Guy Who Got On La Russa's Good Side By Playing Out of Position That One Time (Freese). They're building the perfect 81-win team.
  16. Details Snayke? Ouch. Hmm? I must have missed something. Explain your post. I thought he was taking a jab since I couldn't see the game.
  17. Details Snayke? Ouch.
  18. Yeah, Missouri would definitely draw bigger ratings than Illinois/Carolina Sorry. I forgot it was 2005. Sorry, I forgot it was...wait when did people care about Missouri? The last time people cared about Illinois was...
  19. Yeah, Missouri would definitely draw bigger ratings than Illinois/Carolina Sorry. I forgot it was 2005.
  20. Hey! Ryan Theriot's looking like a good value!
  21. Thanks heavens ESPN put these worthless Big Ten-ACC games on instead of Georgetown-Missouri.
  22. We've already got those douches in spades. I already know Theriot's going to be the most popular Cardinal next year. Every conversation about Theriot will start with a rational person talking about how shitty his OBP is and how he shouldn't be getting 500 plate appearances. Then someone stupid will pipe in with "yeah, but he just plays hard. I'd rather have him than Matt Holliday."
  23. Haha, OKST is really getting punished for that loss to OU.
  24. There's not going to be a rivalry if the Cardinals continue down this path. I am disgusted.
  25. Gangster: It's just a shame that being in John Elway's company means the coaching staff has to put him in bubble wrap in the fourth quarter.
