    Wasn't this argument also "used" during the Orton vs. Grossman days? (Orton just wins, he should be starting!) Heck, I don't know. I'm not a Bears fan yo. What I do know is that Mark Sanchez led the league last year in Rookie Quarterback Poise. It was the second highest RQP rating since Peyton Manning in 1998.

    According to what? Most sub-30 QB rating games this year? Most interceptions thrown this year? Cutler has a much higher completion percentage, higher yards/attempt, 1 more TD and a higher QB rating. running joke Ah. Something from the Bears game threads, I assume? Yup. Why can't some of you admit Sanchez is just a winner who wins games?

    Agreed. Winners just win. It's just like in baseball. You would obviously much prefer a pitcher that's 20-10 with a 5.67 ERA over a pitcher who is 6-19 with a 1.21 ERA because the first pitcher makes the pitches needed to get wins games for his team. Exactly. A guy who wins 20 games is consistently consistent.

    When you talk about Mark Sanchez, you talk about a winner. All this guy has done for the past two seasons is win. Is he flashy? No. But when you need a big play, you expect Sanchez to make that play.

    WTF? This is [expletive]. I wanted Nebraska. Why would the Insight pass on them? It makes no sense. An Iowa/Nebraska game would be sold out by tonight and would get higher tv ratings than Iowa/Mizzou. Settle down, hoss. Iowa will get their chance next year.

Y'all happen to get the #1's from MS, AK, LA, FL's #3 player, GA's #5 and the top JUCO player and it's totally because Auburn is just that badass and Chizik is such a draw. C'mon. I'm no Auburn honk, but weirder things happen. Like the best basketball players in the country wanting to play in Lawrence, KS.

    Ugh. There's no other team in baseball, other than the Cardinals, that has a manager who is really the GM. That would be dandy if he was good at evaluating personnel, but he's not. This is shaping up to be a La Russa Wet Dream: scrappiness in right field (Jay), scrappiness up the middle (Theriot and Schumaker) and Guy Who Got On La Russa's Good Side By Playing Out of Position That One Time (Freese). They're building the perfect 81-win team.

    We've already got those douches in spades. I already know Theriot's going to be the most popular Cardinal next year. Every conversation about Theriot will start with a rational person talking about how shitty his OBP is and how he shouldn't be getting 500 plate appearances. Then someone stupid will pipe in with "yeah, but he just plays hard. I'd rather have him than Matt Holliday."
