  1. How the hell did Detroit beat Tampa? [expletive].
  2. [expletive]. They can have Spagnuolo back if they want.
  3. The Giants seriously blew a 31-10 lead?
  4. Why would I not? This has been a monumentally bad day of officiating. Edited: I can't say that, because I was shocked that they called intentional grounding on Cassel.
  5. That would have been one of the most inexcusably bad calls of the year had they not overturned it. Who cares? Bad calls happen all the time without referees reversing their previous rulings.
  6. Dude. He's the gunslinger.
  7. How ridiculous. The referees just overturned their own call without even being challenged. Someone please put Winter out to pasture already.
  8. I love Steve Spagnuolo, but I don't think his job should be secure after this season. Not unless he promises to make big changes to his staff.
  9. The referees have played brilliantly against the Rams today.
  10. Only the Rams. Drive the ball down to the Chiefs 8 then make two consecutive false start penalties.
  11. In honor of Grossman and that picture: http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/2006/11/f-k-it-im-throwing-it-downfield.html NSFW.
  12. That's a great picture.
  13. I'd have a problem with it, mostly because I hate seeing good story lines in sports. I cried when Butler reached the title game. But seriously, the argument that the tournament would somehow be diluted if a higher seed got in, that doesn't even hold water since everything about how college sports is ranked is completely arbitrary.
  14. I think it'd be easier for jersey to just say he hates college sports. Because the "nobody wants to watch those games" argument isn't even an argument.
  15. Texas Bowl.
  16. I wonder which Ricky Stanzi would choose: losing or throwing to weeded out receivers?
  17. I'm just surprised he had the nerve to rank the Jets 12th. That Sanchez bandwagon is falling apart. I love it.
  18. The Chargers made the playoffs after being 4-8 a couple years ago but they probably weren't a realistic chance until they were 6-8. 7-9 looks more and more likely to win that division. With two head to head games left between the 3 it seems like it would be inevitable that one of those teams would get to 8 but I just don't see which team it would be. Yes, most likely. Seattle is going to lose the next two (vs. Atlanta, at Tampa). San Francisco is going to lose at San Diego. The Rams will probably lose to Kansas City. Entering Week 17, I think the Rams will be 7-8, the Seahawks will be 6-9 and the Niners will be 5-10.
  19. As I said after the Falcons game, leave the rest of the staff and bring in Gruden. With Grant and Finley coming back there's no reason we can't win the Super Bowl next year. This year has been a disaster on so many levels, hopefully Rodgers' concussion is not severe, but this is the second one this year. I'm starting to worry about his durability long term. At least Matt Flynn is waiting in the wings.
  20. So is it safe to say the Bengals are playing for Andrew Luck?
  21. He has plenty of experience forcing himself on others. i think that was the implication. Sorry :) That one went woosh. It's cool. I just love a good rape joke.
  22. Roethlisberger is really forcing himself on the Bengals.
  23. Andre Johnson is a dangerous vertical threat, but he'll have his hands full with the Ravens defense.
  24. I'm old enough to remember when Chris Johnson had 50 yards halfway through the first quarter.
