  1. Dave Hunziker of the Dallas Morning News thinks Blackmon will stay. That's disappointing.
  2. I agree with all this and hope he comes back. Despite having all the physical tools (6'5", can scramble, still has room to fill out more), big arm, good accuracy and a good work ethic, he's still lacking in his decision-making. And maybe he's lacking in Winning Like Tebow, I dunno. But if a bunch of teams are looking for quarterbacks, this could be his year.
  3. Right, which is why history will probably treat him unfairly. Once Daniel, Maclin, Coffman, etc. got Missouri on the verge of being a national champion, that was the only thing Gabbert could do to top Daniel. Unfortunately, he never had the type of players Daniel did and he was too inconsistent.
  4. That was probably the best game of his career. He was slinging it all over the field, making great throws, finding the open guys. The first pick was a dropped TD by Jackson. The second one was his only mistake of the game. Sorry, I meant his career, not last night. Should've made that more clear.
  5. I didn't get to see the whole game, but if that was it for Gabbert at Mizzou it was...uninspiring. Not really his fault, though.
  6. The NFL is such a joke sometimes.
  7. I wish Kim English would stop pretending that he's Antoine Walker and start watching Marcus Denmon more.
  8. I agree to a point. I don't think the talent is spread too thin. There's tons of talent and too many bad GMs and coaches. But it would be a lot better for the league to at least get down to 26 teams.
  9. Matt Ryan's haircut is absurd.
  10. Well, that's overstating it. Martz was 6-10 when the Rams fired him, before that they were 8-8, 12-4, 7-9 and 14-2. The Rams' downfall was a horrible front office with horrible ownership and they made a concerted effort to force him out. Coaches worse than him (Gary Kubiak) will probably get another head coaching gig in this league, so I don't see why Martz shouldn't get his.
  11. I haven't really paid attention...what adjustments or improvements has Chicago's offense made to start scoring so many points? Has Martz done enough where he might get a shot at being head coach again?
  12. It's the only game that is meaningful regardless of other games that are played earlier in the day. I know that, but given how terrible St. Louis and Seattle are, I figured NBC would find Chicago-Green Bay more enticing. I'm almost positive STL-Seattle tanks in the ratings.
  13. Rams-Seahawks is the Sunday night game next week. We are the NFL's charity case of the year!
  14. I predict Seattle wins next week and we get our first-ever 7-9 division champ.
  15. Niners with eight penalties in 17 minutes.
  16. I think the Niners are trying to get Singletary fired.
  17. I know it was the Steelers and all, but that was just brutal to watch. At this point, Clausen has to be considered a project, which means the Panthers have no use for him.
  18. He'd make a lot of sense for the Cardinals, but I've heard they're going to give Pujols his $30 million and tying up around $62 million in three players is completely unrealistic.
  19. Too high, I'd say. I don't see a situation where Doc is running Pierce or Allen out there for 35 minutes a night after March 15.
  20. 68-14 for the Celtics??
  21. I think you meant "McGamey."
  22. Wow. Someone should lose their job over that flagrant call.
  23. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THIS GAME
  24. You act like they would've called the tackle Quiet I'm [expletive] a fat chick.
  25. Thank you, Bruce.
