OK, they slightly came alive for a pretty sweet hook shot by J.J. Hickson. Ryan Hollins with a three-point play that brings the crowd to their feet, but mostly because people were surprised Jermaine O'Neal was still playing.

Quicken Loans has the same energy as a funeral home. Jamario Moon just made a nice putback and it got a golf clap.

I'm with UM. Has LeBron ever played a game in his life where the offense didn't run through him? I just don't see how he's going to acclimate to that in one season. He probably will, though. Wade just needs to accept that LeBron is "the guy" and their success will hinge on how well LeBron can create shots.

The smarter pick would've been Tyreke Evans. Taking Curry would've meant putting him at SG and that would be a disaster. And I'm sure Durant would've been more than happy to sacrifice points to Evans. That'd be an unstoppable combo in terms of going to the rim.

I think my hatred of the SEC is justified when Mississippi State is ranked 23rd. Somewhere (probably at GRB) someone is making the argument that they are probably as good as the best team in the Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-10.

I hope Bob Stoops whines about how unfair it was that the Sooners were ranked No. 1 in the BCS and it was a distraction. God that was the best win ever.

Unfortunately, I agree with this. The Sooners look absolutely beatable, but I just don't see how Missouri pulls it off.
