  1. The entire season has been like this! Great point. This has been the stupidest of the entire season of stupid games.
  2. I realize there will be crazy games throughout the course of a season, but this is just stupid today.
  3. Did we seriously almost blow a 7-1 lead? ETA: I guess they still could in the next three innings.
  4. McCutchen is a shell of himself. He might get a hit here, but he's less dangerous than Walker is. Sarcasm?
  5. Yeah, I'll admit I thought this one was over. Guess it's a good lesson to learn. This game has been like our season. Some really big highs and some really big lows.
  6. I just..........don't understand why every game has to seriously be like this?
  7. Please tell me we are at least going to have a lead after this inning.
  8. There will be a lot of ups and downs with this team in 2015. I really enjoy the ups.
  9. Because it appears he strained his oblique on the pitch before.
  10. Wow. I would have thought Carter was still playing, but the Hill homer probably is more recent than I'm giving it credit it for. Don't quote me on that though. I barely even remember Carter as a broadcaster, I just seem to have a recollection of folks here having mentioned it was Carter in that video. EDIT: Having listened to it it does sound like Dan Roan. PBP I think is definitely Chip Caray. Yup. Last season was 1998. Wiki says he joined Cubs in 2001, year after this HR. I feel like after watching the video it sounds like Dan Roan. ETA: I see you came to the Roan conclusion as well.
  11. Wow. I would have thought Carter was still playing, but the Hill homer probably is more recent than I'm giving it credit it for.
  12. I was already cheering it, then got pissed like a Duda.
  13. I imagine he stays in for the 8th... And even if he doesn't, it was kind of a big out to get.
  14. We've all seen a ton of baseball. I'm not sure I've ever seen a batter argue and get pissed about being called out on a pitch right down the middle.
  15. Percentages say Recker can't hit another homer for four years, so at least this will stay in the park.
  16. If the Cubs win, Starlin has earned a week straight of ground outs to short.
  17. Seriously who invented the TV shot from behind the plate? And if you insist on doing it, do it when the pitcher is batting.
  18. As bad as the bullpen has been recently, this one is more on the offense today. I like wins when only giving up two runs in 10 innings.
  19. Considering we give up at least one run in each sixth inning, not sure one run will be enough today.
  20. They didn't score, but they did force Garza to throw nine pitches.
  21. Great, I can already see that Braun will win the game later when he apparently from the sound of it should be gone.
