PS - this deal is another counterpoint to the 'tightest lipped front office around' rhetoric, as we've known the Castillo side of this deal for a little while now but no news from the Seattle end. That might be because Welington is by far the most noteworthy part, which means the Cubs are getting nobody people know. Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see major interest in Castillo and the Cubs might have finally realized they don't want three catchers anymore and were willing to part with him cheap despite what they said in Spring Training.
