  1. I give you major props for not sweating any matchup in which our offense has to face a pitcher.
  2. I swear to all of you that the new guy was just about to post that Soriano was going to go deep. I swear. I will now take credit. Thank you.
  3. I think all of us don't want to go back to the losing Cubbies after two straight playoff apperances. Thus, I feel we are all trying so hard to root for this team and believe they somehow can snap out of it......but we all know this just isn't a good ballclub as it's currently constructed. We have all seen bad Cubs teams. More bad teams than good ones. I think we have to accept the fact that it ain't happening this season, and stop trying to come up with reasons why it will. I'm not sure what I said even made sense. I'm just fatigued watching this team. Sorry.
  4. Escobar also was looking back with his eyes to see where Soto was set up right before the pitch, sort of like Oh Henry back in the day. That's a no-no, too.
  5. My bad. The 117 wins was being sarcastic, but I think I'm supposed to put sarcastic stuff in blue font. I'm a rookie. I'll get better. The Brewers won't win 117 games. They will win 127.
  6. Of course, I'm somewhat joking. The other part of me hopes this serves as some odd jinx to get them to start losing by talking about them going undefeated. But, I don't get it. I knew the offense would be good. But the overall pitching has been better than ANYONE thought. The 4-9 start was about what I thought, considering the starting pitching appeared medicore and the bullpen a mess. We've all seen the Brewers go through tremendous hot streaks each season -- including one in the first few months -- but this one seems different. The offense has taken a jump much like ours did in 2008. The Brewers are making pitchers work and taking their walks. But that pitching. I don't get it. At what point do we accept that the Crew's pitching actually is solid? And that this team might actually win the division? For the record, I see the Brewers winning 117 games this season.
  7. Either the Cubs somehow come back and win this game, or I am never posting again.
