  1. Blackburn Rondon McNutt (hoping he can figure it out/stay healthy, potential to be at least be a decent bullpen arm is there)
  2. Wells, I had him ranked higher than Loux. I like the upside and even though he has injury issues, *it's only looking like it would take TJS to fix him.* TJS doesn't have a huge impact on affecting guys stuff/careers anymore other than losing a year +/- of development, which is still an issue. Without those issues I would've had wells inside my top 12.
  3. 8. Castro - Only way that he moves off short is if forced off by another player - Likely to hit around .300 with good doubles power, can grow into 20-homer power - Possible to add 15-20 walks/year 18. Rizzo - Thinks 2013 will be ~ 25 HR's, high .200s BA along with great defense at 1st - Moderately patient - Struggled against lefties in the bigs; thinks he can make adjustments as he has proved in the past - High mental makeup; isn't Jay Cutler Thanks
  4. Yeah really starting to like him as a decent #3 option. Hopefully Houston, Denver and Green Bay all lose thisweek so we can get something done fast. McCoy and Dennison are my top 2. Has Clements done much of anything besides being a QB coach? He's only been OC for 1 year right? yeah, but that doesn't mean anything. i don't believe mccarthy himself was an OC for more than a year with the niners. Pretty sure you're right, he was the QB coach there then got promoted to OC for a year then the Packers hired him the year after that.
  5. If Illinois shoots like they did last night on Saturday at Wisconsin I'm looking forward to the 32-27 final score that would be sure to ensue.
  6. Keith Law did his top 25 under 25 guys in the majors today. Anybody have insider/want to share where he has and what he has to say about Castro/Rizzo? Thanks!
  7. He hasn't done anything meaningful in the last 3 years most of our team falls into that catagory.... Soooo the answer to fixing our team that hasn't done anything meaningful over the last 3 years is to add more players whom haven't done anything meaningful over the last 3 years?? Got it, Smart!
  8. This is Awesome.
  9. He couldn't have made more than a 2-3 win difference at most. They just aren't that good of a team. They have no depth and then throw in the injuries to 3 of their 4 best players. Just not a whole lot to work with.
  10. After losing to A&M this year, I expect Bama to come in and manhandle the Aggies next fall. Saban is probably already game planning for that game
  11. nearly 153K America is so awesome....
  12. Can we stop with the Rooney rule subject. Everytime a black guy gets an interview people ask if its token Rooney time. People asked if lovie getting interviews was Rooney related. Just stop. Emery is talking to everybody. If he hadnt already spoken with a minority candidate he would have eventually. And freaking lovie is a well above .500 long tenured head coach as qualified as anybody out there for an interview. Assume it's for football reasons and move on. Well normally I, and probably most others, would assume what you just said. But it's Mike Singletary, if it was an actual qualified minority I wouldn't question if it was just to cover a silly rule. He's a former NFL head coachwith a storied past in the franchise. It makes perfect sense that ownership would nudge Emery toward having the interview considering he's already interviewing everybody else. And they already had minority candidates on the docket so there's no reason to bring up the Rooney rule. A job he was mostly terrible at and a league wide joke by the time he was gone. But other than that I wasn't aware they already covered the rule, hence why asking the question to begin with. I am not following the HC hunt on a daily basis. I get giving him an interview due to his standing with the franchise/paying some lip service, but he was/is an awful coach and was why I asked if it was to cover the rule not knowing they already interviewed Armstrong.

  14. That's embarrassing. How does a professional organization let that happen to their field? Is it that hard to maintain the field that gets played on 8-10 times a year? Was there recently a soccer or bowl game there or something? It's something that seems all it takes to maintain is resources (ie money) and Dan Snyder doesn't seem to have a shortage or tendency to not spend that.
  15. Whitenack, I had him at 22 (Blackburn at 21) so he was/is my next highest guy available for the spot
  16. Interview to cover the Rooney Rule?
  17. RGIII has a partially torn LCL and at least a partially torn ACL and the tests he's having tomorrow are to determine if it's a complete tear of the ACL. Is a LCL tear worse/same/"better" than doing the same thing to the MCL/ACL/PCL? Or is it all about the same? Obviously re-tearing the ACL he already tore once isn't a good thing. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2012/story/_/id/8822363/source-robert-griffin-iii-washington-redskins-partially-torn-lcl
  18. No. That is a statement of fiction. They'd struggle to score 1 touchdown against any NFL team.
  19. He's tied up figuring out how to bring Tebow back to being a starter in the NFL, presumably
  20. Howard (Torn Labrum) and Gasol (Concussion) both out indefinitely for the Lakers. Stay hot LA!
  21. I know it's not easy going into Madison and winning and it's possible they can turn a game into a yuck it up fest in the 40's, but Wisconsin is really bad this year. Illinois should win by double digits there Saturday.
  22. Guessing his lack of a high ceiling/stand out tool(s) is why he isn't there.
  23. If I'm the Packers I'd probably rather go to ATL for the NFC Championship than face Seattle in GB.
  24. They can beat Atlanta, but probably not Green Bay. I wonder what the spread will be. There's no way Atlanta opens up as more than three-point favorites. Looks like it's anywhere from ATL -1 to -3 right now. Probably settles somewhere around -1.5 to -2.5. If I was around somewhere to be on it, I'd probably stay away from the line on that one. I have no feel for that game and just about any outcome from blowout either way to close game seems possible. I do really like the over, o/u is at 45/45.5 right now.
