Even if a Bellinger deal can't get done, they could still fit Luzardo+Milner+Chafin and be ok on salary, no? I think I'd be ok with that team and fill out the bench with prospects.
I know you're dead set on Oline in the 1st, but I'd sure love to have a shot at either Mason Graham or Abdul Carter. They're probably going to have to finish top 7 to have a shot. If not, I'm 100% cool with Will Campbell. As of now, I think the Bears will end up picking 8th. The Jets will win again, I don't think the Bears will, but unfortunately I don't think any of the Jags/Brown/Titans/Patriots/Panthers have 2 more wins in them.
Still not sure why everyone puts Alcantara in trades over Caissie now that it's believed Alcantara has an additional year. I know Caissie is the safer bat, but one provides above average CF defense, which would be plus defense in the corner.
I don't get the talk that Josh Allen sealed the deal with MVP last night like he's the run away winner. I wouldn't even have him as the winner much less the run way winner.

It's not fantastic, but it's pretty solid especially with Assad/Wicks as depth. I really wanted to aim a little higher for the last rotation spot, but it's not bad if it happens to go down.
Lamar is having a season for the ages. After today's 5TD 0INT performance he's up to 34TD to 3INT. Bryce Young came crashing back to earth after looking greatly improved recently. 2 INT 2 fumbles, 218 yards 83 of which came on one play.
$10 million is just such an absurd amount for a guy who is a solid player, just a bit overpaid. If 10M is going, a good prospect better be coming back.
I would say if the Cubs just sat on their hands the rest of the offseason, I could kind of see this. With that said, I don't expect Jed to stop now and if they get a SP to slot in front of Taillon, a set up man and a bench bat, they are not only a division favorite, but a legit depth playoff run team.
