  1. Remember when just a few months ago people were saying 500M. I definitely saw 600M coming, can't say I saw 700M though.
  2. Oregon laying it on Penn St 28-10 right now.
  3. Unless they're going pure DH, Santander is the last bat of note who can kind of fake it in RF.
  4. O'Neil to Baltimore 3/49.5. One Cody replacement gone.
  5. Still don't think it's an issue because we at very least know that Ben Johnson's offense can score on plays he calls.
  6. If the rumor I saw that two of Johnson's biggest criteria is clear separation of duties in the FO and an organization willing to accept where they failed so they can properly rebuild, then the Bears are already out of the running.
  7. I'd definitely take the under.
  8. Starting to feel like there's a pretty decent chance the Cubs enter 2025 worse on paper than when they entered 2024.
  9. Jed never fails to disappointment and how the owner who brought the Cubs their first championship in a century managed to completely destroy all that goodwill in less than 10 years is just impressive.
  10. If it's Suzuki, then short of Soto being a Cub, I'm just out on this horsefeathers team.
  11. In a world filled with common sense yes, but I don't have so much faith in Jed.
  12. Given the make up of the draft at the moment, it's going to be so much easier to address OL/OT with one or both of the 2nd then it will be to address OL in the 1st and DE in the 2nd.
  13. While it's exciting, if they were to move both Nico and Bellinger this offseason, that opens up a heck of a lot of work to be done on the offensive side of the team.
  14. Very excited for Cam's 2025. His bat has the highest upside in the system, a true franchise bat.
  15. Sanders and Ward are pretty close to locks for the top 10 right now, anyone else would be questionable.
  16. It would have to come way down though. I'm cool with Caissie and Triantos being involved but unless Shaw is going to become someone like Hernandez or Southisene, I'm not real sure it's worth it.
  17. Yeah, no thanks. Crochet is good, but hasn't thrown a full season yet and is going to want a huge extension. Not dumping a top 20, top 50 and top 100 prospect all of which are pretty much MLB ready
  18. That Sapp hit on Clifton was ultra horsefeathers. Guy isn't within 15 yards of the play.
  19. Lawrence to the IR, season most likely over.
  20. No, you're correct. Basically whoever is trading for Crochet is doing so knowing he's going to want an extension.
  21. The guy who does nothing but throw for a living and not the guy who has the shortest throw possible to 1B would be a pretty good guess.
  22. This is a really odd take. Why would he suddenly flop? Frazier was coming off 1 good year but otherwise was incredibly mediocre. Kolton Wong is 34 years old. Meanwhile Nico has been consistently a 4 fWAR the last 3 years worth 12.8 fWAR over that span and is 27 years old. Not sure why he'd suddenly flop.
  23. Better not be a lot more. Certainly no one in the top 10.
