    Not that I wanted Charlie Morton, or Sugano for that matter, but I find it humorous watching the Orioles out spend the Cubs this offseason.

    Yeah, at this point the mocks i see ivisic on it's mid to late 2nd, but his stock should improve by the end of the year.

    Season ends today and Jakucionis is a lock to go to the draft. It was crazy how little respect some of the scouting sites were giving him. Ivisic may end up there too as well as Will Riley, but Riley has to get out of this shooting funk he's been in for a while now.

    The Bears suck, the Bulls suck and the Blackhawks suck, at least let me have fun with this.

    Well, Bears sit at 9, but could move all the way to #5 by the end of the week. Each win by any of Oakland, Carolina, Jets or Jacksonville moves them up a spot. As things stand now, getting to #7 would be huge and almost guarantee one of Abdul Carter, Will Campbell or Mason Graham are available.

    Gonna be funny when Warren refuses Harbaugh because of prior relationship and Poles refuses Johnson because he's scared of losing his job.

    The recent hire of Eberflus and that Vrabel and Flores are prime candidates says, yes they are that stupid.

    If we end up with Flores I'm just out as a fan. It'd be the same stupid horsefeathers they always try and do. Oh we need to be monsters of the midway and play Bear football. Continuously trying to chase 1985 because apparently that's the only way the McCaskeys believe you can win. It hasn't worked for 4 decades, wake the horsefeathers up already.

    This is one of the biggest fall on your face games I've ever seen.

    3rd highest revenue team, appears zero times in the list of the 24 highest $ contracts in MLB history. In fact Chicago's biggest contract, Heyward $184, was nearly $60M short of appearing in the top 24. Meanwhile mega spenders like the Tigers, Marlins, Royals and Nationals are all represented.

    Man, I keep coming back to that Minnesota game. They don't lose that game they're probably ranked top 12 in the nation in the final rankings. #12 would tie for the highest end of season ranking since Ron Turner in 2001. #11 would put them at their highest since 1989.

    Not awful I suppose. Still not thrilled, but given the 5M number throwing around before it's tolerable.

    Jedd has to have one of the worst cases of "smartest man in the room" I've ever seen. He seems to genuinely prefer trying to prove he's smarter than everyone with reclamation projects rather than just take the talent that's there.

    Why does everything have to be guys they can "fix"? why is it almost never guys who are just good?

    On the optimistic side of things, the Bears currently pick 9th, but can move up 1 spot per win by the Raiders, Jets, Panthers and Jaguars meaning they could pick as high as #5.

    Not great when nearly 1/3 of the league has 4 or fewer wins through 16 games.

    If I remember his prospect profile correctly, he was a plus contact, plus speed, zero power guy.

    With what Marlin said and now this article, I think it's a very real question if we'll see a payroll as high as last year.

    So we're at the point where there are significant doubts that the Bellinger money that was saved is actually going to be reinvested. That's fun.
