Better than any single person we got.
-
Jed half asses FA, goes all in on offseason trades with Tucker, then half asses the TDL. I just don't get it.
-
After inevitable failure at the end of this season, I fully expect Jed to not have the balls to show up to the Cub Convention.
-
If not for Jed somehow getting an extension I'm with you just so we can get rid of his incompetence.
-
Well it's Ryan or Jed completely botched the most important cub TDL in years.
-
Do we have the official death tweet yet so we can put this TDL to bed?
-
With Jed clutching his prospects this tightly, there's no way in hell Tucker is a Cub next year and none of the other guys who are FAs after 2026 are getting extensions either.
-
So he's saving them for 2028?
-
I'm still legit blown away, like I just don't have words for it. How do you not address your biggest weakness and it's your biggest weakness by a ton.
-
Like Seriously Jed, what are you going to do with all of Caissie, Long and Alcantara? Where are they all going to play?
-
I really wonder if acquiring Rogers was a last second pivot because they now need to throw Soroka back into the rotation rather than the bp. What an absolute piss down your leg moment if this is how it ends up.
-
Well it's Joe Ryan, Gallen or bust.
-
Well I kind of hate that for a reliever they didn't even need.
-
There has got to be a SP, I simply refuse to believe Jed finds this rotation acceptable for a team with world series aspirations.
-
Rays are getting Houser. Not much for rental SP left besides Gallen.
-
So, I'm not really sure why unless they're pushing Soroka to a SP now and if so fml.
-
Come on Jed, you're so close to a good TDL, just finish it up.
-
Nah, there's 100% a SP coming. If they're actually any good is tbd.
-
Yup that's a bit of an ouch. I liked Gallagher a good bit, but it's still reasonable to me in this market.
-
Not sure what to think now. The prices have been a good bit higher than they've been in recent years.
-
Did not see Bratt in there too, ok that's quite a bit for a rental.
-
Damn the cost on Kelly was kind of the Cub equivalent of Gallagher+Birdsell, maybe even a touch more.
-
This is part of why Castro was a big get, what he does to lefties
-
Solid against righties, mashes lefties, lots of positional versatility. Exactly what we needed in a bat. I wanted him over Suarez.
-
Thank god for that much, still salvageable.
