  1. Secondary is not getting it done at all.
  2. This happens a for GB receivers a lot which makes me think this is more an offensive scheme thing than anything.
  3. Not having Jaylon is going to cost them this game.
  4. Seems an odd take when his left guard got beat almost instantly.
  5. I didn't expect the announcers to be having a Getsy love fest.
  6. I dream of a GB game where we don't have to hear about Rodgers and Favre repeatedly throughout the duration.
  7. A slip by the db too, hmmm
  8. I have a sneaking suspicion they kept this field really wet to limit Fields.
  9. I wonder if Fields get a chance to get rid of the ball on that sack if the ball isn't hiked at his shins.
  10. If you want them to take a QB at #1 and you want any chance of Nabers with the 2nd pick, the Bears have to lose. If they win, even Odunze might be gone before they pick.
  11. Jacksonville completes their complete meltdown and is out of the playoffs.
  12. Carolina shut out for the 2nd week in a row, Bryce Young went 11-18 and threw for 94 yards. He'll finish the season with 11 TD, 10 INT and 2877 yards. Carolina needs to be in full blown panic mode at this point.
  13. 1) I'm very happy for Derrick Henry who is going out like a boss. 147 yards on 10 carries in what seems like could be his last game. 2) Trevor Lawrence has been disappointing to put it mildly. As of now, he's sitting at 20 TD to 14 INT and looking like a guy who is never going to approach his draft hype.
  14. Watching Derek Carr absolutely destroy Atlanta to the tune of a 150.1 passer rating is not making me feel as optimistic about Fields' performance last week as I was.
  15. Even if we ignore the Bauer abuse situation, he has genuinely been disliked by his teammates on basically every team he has ever been a part of. He's a Milton Bradley level clubhouse issue.
  16. The coaching situation is pretty much going to give away what the Bears are going to do at QB. A new coach and I'd put heavy money on a new QB. If they keep Eberflus, then I'd put heavy money that Fields is returning.
  17. If the Bears do decide to move Fields, Desmond Ridder is making Atlanta's decision to move on very easy.
  18. We're between 5 to 6 weeks until pitchers and catchers report. I know there's technically a lot of FA available, but it really feels increasingly likely that they go in with a bunch of 3rd and 4th tier FA on 1 or 2 year deals and try to sneak into the playoffs.
  19. Maybe I missed it elsewhere, but it looks like Doug Kramer will start at center with Lucas Patrick to the IR.
  20. They're surprisingly comfy. It's a far better experience than the "L".
  21. Dodgers land Imanaga too and the rest of the league shouldn't even bother putting an offer in on Roki Sasaki when he comes over.
  22. The Dodgers did a few things. I was going to do a long stat filled post, but the short story is that Brasier's 4 seam fastball is awful(.389 wOBA in 2022). Even so, Boston had him using it more than any other pitch despite the fact that he actually had a dominant slider. When he went to LA, they drastically reduced how often he threw that 4 seam and incorporated a cutter which also became a dominant pitch. This gave him 2 dominant offerings and he could use the 4 seam to keep batters honest. So yes, the cutter was huge for him, but Boston used him entirely wrong as well. Correcting both of those things turned him into the dominant reliever that posted a .70 ERA and 2.48 FIP in his 38 2/3 innings with the Dodgers. He likely isn't sniffing that ERA again, but there's nothing to suggest that he isn't a guy who could post a sub 3.00 ERA again which is why there's so many teams in on him. I'm actually quite interested in him now even if it's a multi year deal.
  23. Illinois gave Purdue all they could handle but came up 5 points short. Still, it's a really good showing against the #1 team in the nation on their court.
  24. It's a far safer bet and if Imanaga really is getting into the 110M range, I'd rather pay the difference and go with the known commodity.
