Yeah that is certainly a take. Funny how waiting out the market has been almost entirely unsuccessful while the brief period they were aggressive, led to multiple playoff births and a WS.
If the rumor I saw that two of Johnson's biggest criteria is clear separation of duties in the FO and an organization willing to accept where they failed so they can properly rebuild, then the Bears are already out of the running.
