  1. in 2025, a slight offensive upgrade for a massive defensive downgrade, not sure i see the point.
  2. It's a damn shame Illinois lost that Minnesota game earlier this year. They win that and they're probably ranked in the 14-17 range.
  3. I've seen various former NFL QBs say this same thing. He was running an offense like Caleb was a seasoned veteran which is probably why Caleb was hesitating so much under his system.
  4. No idea why Eberflus would have ever been given a 5 year deal
  5. I don't think it's going to be the players complaining, I think it's going to be all the "low revenue" teams complaining that it gives the big spending teams even more ability to outspend them. Now we know this is horsefeathers because those teams are choosing not to spend, but I fully expect it be a point of contention.
  6. The deferrals are 100% going to be a big topic during the collective bargaining agreement.
  7. For me these are the biggest needs. Edge>OT>run stopping DL>safety>OL depth
  8. Brown has definitely made himself a desirable OC this offseason, but I am not even considering him for HC unless Caleb is emphatically telling them this is the guy who can make me the best I can be.
  9. He referred to that in his press conference, but made it sound like at the very end of the game he doesn't have that option.
  10. What's crazy is that he started the year 0TD 4INT. Going 15 TD to 1 INT since is absurd, especially as a rookie.
  11. On the plus side Caleb Williams so far 2612 Passing Yards 14 TDs 5 INTs on pace for 3700 passing yards 20 TDs 7 INTs
  12. I can't stand people who refuse to acknowledge when they horsefeathers up. You say you horsefeathered up and you'll do better, but even refusing that you did anything wrong is why he's a complete failure as a head coach.
  13. He more or less said he isn't allowed to call it in that scenario.
  14. Caleb basically said at around 16 second lefts, he had to audible the call because the play call would have ended the game and he had to audible into a play that would have had a chance at a TD once he realized it was going to be the last play.
  15. Caleb all but saying it was completely Eberflus's fault with the TO. That he more or less isn't allowed to call a TO at that point in the game. Said he called one earlier in that drive but in that scenario he defaults to the coaches.
  16. This sounds almost impossible, but the Bears are still +1 in point differential despite being 4-8.
  17. Flus wasn't really his guy though. Flus was the guy he chose amongst the few that made it through that obscure outside interview process
  18. Definitely legit, as were both Kmet penalties. The horse collar penalty against the Bears and that Keenan Allen call were both complete horsefeathers though.
  19. If Eberflus is the coach for the next game, then no Bear coach will ever be fired mid-season.
  20. That's the third time they've shown his face between plays and he's in obvious pain.
  21. However this ends, Caleb played very well today after a disaster first half for the entire team.
