    Coaching decisions aside, Ron Zook has made Illinois relevant and has elevated the program. We will never be a perennial B1G contender, but we can be a solid program like Iowa if we continue to string together solid seasons. Everything is cyclical, and we're moving in the right direction. Just the fact that we are angry after losing to OSU is significant progress, seven years ago, we would have been happy to lose by less than forty.

    Its cute that you cling to this fantasy that Cutler is in the same universe as Rodgers (the most talented QB in the history of the league) If Cutler had GB's o-line, he'd be a top-3 QB. I'm not comparing him to Rodgers, because Rodgers is the best I've ever seen, but he'd be incredible. Seriously? Better than Brady, Brees and a health Peyton Manning? No way.

    Does Finley have a history of dropped passes? Cause I searched and couldn't find much stats. He doesn't seem to have any drops this year. Seems like this game was more of the exception than the rule He has all the tools, but other than the monster Bears game, we really haven't ever seen him put it together.

    Great win. Took a big punch from ATL early and then took it to them. Jermichael Finley is the most overrated player in football. Rodgers was his normal self. Big win.

    Looks like Mizzou to the SEC is in the works. Board of Curators votes to take action which is best for the University.

    (1) Need to protect Rodgers better. (2) Need to get more of a pass rush. (3) Need to shore up over the top pass coverage. I think there's a lot of room for improvement, and McCarthy needs to get in their ears about it. Next week will be a test in Atlanta.

    Ha yeah. Pretty incredible to go from Favre to Rodgers. Packer fans have been spoiled to say the least. I dont think you guys even know what it is like to not have a good QB. Even those years where Favre was bad, he was no where near as bad as the QBs the Bears have started over the years. We had Matt Flynn start one game. That's all I got. And he was pretty damn impressive.

    I love Ron Zook almost as much as I love our schedule. This team doesn't quit, this team is not your typical Illinois football team, this team is special.
