Is Arkansas really a better job? The SEC is hot garbage and has been for some time. It's not, but apparently a 10% raise and his past there was enough to convince him I guess. The situation sucks, but at least I don't have to worry about Jimmy Sexton's sleaze anymore, and Mike Alden has made very good hires for a decade running. Hopefully the new guy can get some momentum with a senior heavy team next year and then make some headway with his own guys. Keeping Phil Pressey and/or getting Otto Porter would be a nice bonus too. You said right here it's not a better job, and you still haven't supported why Mizzou is a better job than Arkansas. Other than the brand new "Mizzou Arena" I cannot think of a single advantage Mizzou has over Arkansas. Sure, Mizzou is a decent program, but its nothing special. "Arkansas is not a clearly better job than Mizzou" is not the same as "Mizzou is clearly a better job than Arkansas". Now you're changing the words around. It only says "better job" not "clearly better job." If that is the debate then I would probably be inclined to agree with you that Arkansas is not clearly better. However, you agreed with Andy that it was not a "better job," which implies you think Mizzou is either equal to or better than the Arkansas job. I don't believe that to be the case, and that's where my argument was coming from. I'll just shut up now, and we can just agree to disagree. With that said, I hope Mizzou does not regress back to Snyder era performance with their next hire. I hate losing to you, but the last couple years have been much more fun.
