    Just from watching games, Castro has seemed more patient at the plate, but he's been a little too patient in letting perfectly hittable pitches pass him by. He hasn't yet struck the balance between being patient and waiting for your pitch and patience for patience's sake.

    I just don't expect the Cubs to get hits with RISP anymore. It's a bonus whenever it happens. The shitty strike zone all year hasn't helped matters either.

    The Cubs then win 22 out of their next 25 games after deciding to not lose.

    Please score some runs. On paper, there's no way this offense is supposed to be average to below average.

    The offense needs to stop being so [expletive] streaky. It's either six runs or one run with the Cubs. A bat and an arm at the deadline, please. Call up Schwarber in August and we'll be golden for a wild card run. And maybe mental help for the young players who are probably putting way too much pressure on themselves to perform.
