FWIW Cubs are favorites in this series in Vegas -150. I thought it would be closer to even money.

I did not win the postseason lottery for NLCS but my dad did. If he sent me the link would I just be able to buy tickets with my credit card or would I have to use his card? Also debating on buying 2 tickets to game 4 and 2 to game 5 or just all 4 for game 5.

Yeah 1 game out of 7 in the afternoon is a lot better than I expected. Sucks its on Tuesday but as was said earlier it's game 3, not a clincher or an opening game.

I have decided to make the trip down to St Louis for the game tomorrow. Trying to get a seat for <$150 a ticket, just missed out on a pair in 437 for $149 each after fees on StubHub. Anyone else going down there tomorrow? -

That's why I'm torn between Rat Boy and Baez at 3B. Maybe/probably I'm underselling La Stella's defense, but Baez just seems like the better option with the glove. On Mulley and Hanley they said something similar, but La Stella is more likely to run up the pitch count, and more likely to put the ball in play than Baez in the event there is a guy on 3rd less than two outs.

Yes this is true. Rizzo was at the game against the Predators in the playoffs and half the UC gave him a standing ovation and half booed him. If I had tickets for this game I would have sold them in a heartbeat $250 + for 300 level on banner raising night and bought NLDS tickets with the money.

Yeah I have been thinking about doing this. I think I could swing $150 per ticket, I imagine after the Cubs win tomorrow the ticket prices will increase significantly. I would leave around 9am and head home after the game so no hotel needed.

Yeah 10 points is a bit much. Hopefully the Bears can surprise, I plan on being very hungover after the Cubs go up 2-0 on the Cards the night before. -

For what its worth. Cubs open as a slight money line favorite of -130 and the run total for the game is 5.5

i hope that whenever we win it, he actually feels comfortable showing his face and having some sort of cool moment because the whole thing is awful. Bring him back after they win it. I don't trust Cubs/sports fans enough to not be awful to him if they bring him back for a playoff game or something and then they end up losing. "They" shouldn't bring him anywhere. He probably doesn't want to be brought anywhere. Yeah he probably won't even come out during the World Series ceremony the following April after they win it.

I think the Cubs will win 4-1 but in a doomsday scenario I see them lose 1-0 in the 12th inning after Jake goes 9 innings of 1 hit ball.
