We should know more about the length of the suspension if its an in person hearing or conference call. In person I think is >5 games.

They made it sound on the Score this morning that he might not even be back by the time the playoffs start Yeah Q has been saying things like "he could be back by the start of the playoffs". Nothing definite. Could we win a cup with Darling and a deep defensive group? Yes. With 1.5 solid pairings? No way. The Hawks will not win a Cup with Darling as the main goaltender. The back end of their D, is slightly better this year than last, although that isnt saying much. The main difference this year and last has more to do with the lack of 5-5 production and puck possession. I don't know what to think, last year at the start of the playoffs I thought they were ripe for a first round exit, and they went and won the Cup. This year I feel they are ripe for a first round exit, but them winning the Cup as long as Crawford is back would not surprise me either.

Nice 4 points this weekend Playoff tickets on sale today at noon. I got in on the presale at 9am. $130 for high 300 level 1st Rd and $180 for high 300 level 2nd round. I will pass.

In a point spread pool and I still have 4 of my 8 teams remaining. This is a fun way to do a pool. Tonight I need Kansas -6.5 and Miami +4 Friday I need Wisconsin +1 and North Carolina -5.5

Just based on past experience, the Cubs seem to mail out the April and May games in March while the summer games tend to be mailed out after the season begins. I wouldn't worry. -
I am in second in mine, however my champion is Michigan St, so I am toast unless Kansas and North Carolina bow out before the final 4.

I think the way this plays out for the Hawks assuming they don't fall to 4th in the Central is a path to the Cup of STL-NSH-LA-Eastern team. Like last year only home ice in the 2nd round. I think Dallas takes the Central but loses to Nashville in the 1st Rd. As for expansion, I think if Hossa were to be picked up by Las Vegas I think he just would retire. Speaking of Vegas, I would have to think if teams like Chicago, Detroit, NYR, the So Cal teams, and the 7 Canadian teams their arena will be filled with those fans probably at 90%

I would hope that Stan mortgages the future to win now each and every year Toews and Kane are in their prime. If they don't win the Cup this year, it will suck but I hardly think it will hinder them from winning future Cups before 2023. There wasn't really a trade to be made for the blue line, first line wing was probably a little more important than a 3rd pairing d man that would play maybe 10 minutes in the postseason. As for this slump as was said earlier March is when the Hawks typically have their biggest slump each and every year, with the exception of 2013. They always seem to get out of it right as the calendar switches to April 1st. I still think the only obstacle to the Hawks winning the Cup this year is the LA Kings. They will have to go thru Dallas and St Louis before that, but I am not really worried with or without home ice.

Plus he took slightly less money than two other teams to play for the Hawks. The Blues were one of the teams he turned down. Also, Bob McKenzie mentioned the Hawks might be in on bringing Ladd back. I wonder what the price would be for a rental? Hartman? Don't think Bowman want's to part with a 2016 1st round pick as they don't have a 2nd rounder.

Someone at HF boards showed what the standings would have looked like last year with a 3-2-1 point system. Not a whole lot of difference except the LA Kings would have made the playoffs http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showthread.php?t=1875649

All that does is make a gimmick which 3-3 really is even more important than it should be. The only thing close to fair is, 3 points for a regulation win, 2 points for some sort of OT/ shootout win, 1 point for some sort of OT/loss loss and 0 for a regulation loss.

The correct term is "winner" point. Both teams tied at the end of regulation receive 1 point, the extra point is awarded to the winner of either the 3-3 format or the shootout. 3-2-1 does make sense, they do it in Europe and the Olympics. The NHL says it will affect the standings but I have seen on yahoo show that it doesn't really in recent seasons.

Could be part of it. In hockey, the Kings have been bet up in even years while the Hawks in odd years since 2012.

How many years in the future do they have sites announced for so far? I think 2020 would be about right for the ASG. I went to the 1990 game, had SRO tickets, it rained but would love to go to another one. -
How is this not free money? Only one team is higher the Giants at 90. As was said I think it will get bet up to 91 or so.

Just about any SB from the mid 80's to the mid 90's were all garbage blowouts with exception of Super Bowl XXIII and XXV.(of course I enjoyed SB XX) This game was a one score game until late, it didn't have a lot of scoring but Id take last night's game over any blowout not involving my team.

They're there. I just checked on my phone. Weird, must be my app, I see tons of them from my pc but the app comes up not found. Edited. Ok so when I am connected to my work's wifi It thinks I am in Europe, which is why I couldn't get 30 for 30 but I can see shows like The Big Bang Theory which I can't at home on my wifi network. I guess I can use this to my advantage. Sorry for the scare earlier saying that 30 for 30 was gone.
