  1. you get to see the best pitcher on the cubs and the best post-break pitcher in the national league. you poor thing. Montgomery and Hammel don't really excite me (sorry). I'm not really that angry, but I was really close to Arrieta/Hendricks. Well you will be in Colorado, go smoke some weed and enjoy the games
  2. I love day games too but that means I will have to watch the Bears tonight without the need to flip the channels back and forth
  3. He would play on the top lines with Toews. Have to think Boston and Pittsburgh are favorites over the Hawks though. Why though? I can understand Boston given that he's from the area. But why Pittsburgh over the Hawks other than that its closer to the east coast? I saw some speculation that the Hawks trading away young talent in recent years might be a knock against him as he doesn't want to choose the Hawks and then get traded to Edmonton in 2 years. Yes, you would have to think that the Hawks being the most attractive option now, but being traded to Edmonton due to cap issues would put them behind Pittsburgh. If he wants a Cup, the Penguins and the Hawks are the best options now.

  5. I bet they will pull something before the weekend is over. horsefeathering Cardinals
  6. For the most part Good news, better than expected
  7. Dodgers have tied the Giants for the NL West lead. I think I would rather the Cubs play the Giants in the NLCS than NLDS even if Bumgarner is burned in the WC game.
  8. I think this is Sale's first start Sox are not favored in. Cubs -122 on the moneyline. I guess the thought would be that the Sox bullpen will implode again as long as Lackey can keep the Cubs within striking distance by the 7th.
  9. Temple of the Dog announced a 5 city tour tour today and Seattle is one of the cities.
  10. How long until someone asks them about their contract extensions? I am sure it will be brought up
  11. That's almost as crazy as the AC Green story
  12. I don't know. Looks like it should be out of here by 7. Maybe a delayed start
  13. I was hoping to see the Cubs face Harvey this series and light him up. He last pitched Tuesday, are they going with a 6 man rotation?
  14. Run Differential now only 1 away from their season high before the skid.
  15. "Hello neighbor! Did you know there is a registered sex offender living on this block? Cough*itsme*Cough." That or one of those guys who will be coming around house to house in the Fall asking you to "Vote for Trump"
  16. Last week was only the 2nd losing week all season. Cubs right the ship.
  17. Salary cap at 73 million. Good bye Shaw(I hope) As for the Malkin rumor? LOL
  18. I would think that is what Joe is going to do I guess not
