  1. I would rather spend my afternoon pregaming at the worst and douchiest Wrigleyville bar than go watch the Bears. Me too, already committed to the Bears game though.
  2. I got 4 tickets to Game 2, section 202. Not the greatest but now I'm doing a Bears/Cubs double header. Just need to stay somewhat sober watching the shitty Bears game at Soldier Field.
  3. So by this time next week it's possible this is the morning after the Cubs clinch their first WS berth since 1945.
  4. My 4th email was a winner, hopefully I can get thru to get some tickets. Does it go into a VWR where I can open multiple windows after I enter the password? If anyone knows?
  5. I registered 4 email addresses. 3 rejections came but the 4th one, no notification yet. Hmm, maybe a winner?
  6. I hated the way he pronounced Cueto as CueTOE
  7. Yeah you need to win both game 4 and 5, I understand if you don't win game 4 without Kershaw there is no game 5. But the endgame is to win the series. Kershaw on normal rest would have been best.
  8. I got about two hours of sleep. I woke up more angry than I went to bed. But now I am very confident in a Win tonight.
  9. Cubs -450 to win the series. Just win tonight, Thursday is a long way away.
  10. True so maybe one of the NLCS games starts at 330pm which would suck unless it was a Saturday or Sunday. Dates with both LCS going Sun 16th ALCS#2 and NLCS #1 Tues 18th ALCS#4 and NLCS #3 Wed 19th ALCS#5 and NLCS#4 Sat 22nd ALCS#7 and NLCS#6 Saturday the 15th, not the 16th, is when both play at the same time. ALCS starts this Friday. You are right
  11. The NLCS games will be starting around 7pm central time regardless if it is Washington or LA. Most likely, unless the Red Sox come back and win the DS; they'd probably get a few primetime slots. Go Indians. 12. Washington loads the bases in the first only to have Zimmerman K on 3 pitches.
  13. Yup. horsefeathers the west coast. I want the Nationals to win their series for so many reasons, but ESPECIALLY this one. The NLCS games will be starting around 7pm central time regardless if it is Washington or LA.
  14. Kershaw would only go tomorrow if they lose today? I would have to think.
  15. I season record the Cubs so it recorded both MLB Network and FS1 for 4.5 hours on DirecTV
  16. Indians up 4-0 early on Boston
  17. http://s.quickmeme.com/img/1a/1a6c93c71aefe2b524e8a40ec27a0800e7f0f49ff8d71545dff2c9235f099771.jpg
  18. He was trying to bum money off of me to buy a beer in 2015 in Mesa
  19. Anyone catch the idiot Indian fan in the front row at the beginning of the game with the sign "1986" WS chokers"? Did he forget about 2004,2007,2013 or the fact that the Indians have not won anything in nearly 7 decades or the fact that they were beaten in 1995 and 1997
  20. And having an offense that is a lot better than the Giants 5 times out of 5. I like the Cubs chances.
  21. Wow, I love reading more gems over at WSI From "Cub Killer" The fact is that only death and taxes are inevitable in life. A flub title is not, the drought may go on forever. Accept that, flubbers. The cubs have the #1 NL seed, but that actually DECREASES their odds to win it all. Lower seeds actually have a better chance. Which further shows that reg season record doesn't mean much. The last NL1 to win it all was the D-backs in 2001. And they're the only NL1 to win it all since seeding became earned. 03 NL4 06 NL3 08 NL2 10 NL2 11 NL4 12 NL3 14 NL5 WC teams have won it all more times. Those 103 wins mean nothing now. HFA isn't really an advantage. 109 is looming, flubbers...
  22. Yeah there isnt even a tickets link on the Cubs page, usually its there and then you click on it, select a single and it will then tell you no tickets are available.
