  1. My wife is making me watch Dancing with the Stars tonight. Thanks a lot David Ross
  2. I wouldn't want to face that Wild team in the playoffs, though. That team is a PITA As it sits now Blues vs Wild 1st round. Blues are starting to play better and would not surprise me if they were to knock them off.
  3. Same here. 27-1 now if Marquette wins I should finish first round 31-1. SMU losing will also cost me as I had them in sweet 16
  4. 19-0 for me now, thanks to that terrible call.
  5. Quick, get a job with Berkshire Hathaway and make your start date retroactive to March 15th. I was 15-1, with my one loss picking Princeton to beat ND which was one made 3 away from happening. Yeah saw that, He is offering any of his employees a Billion dollars for a perfect bracket, or a million dollars for life for a perfect sweet 16, or a million dollar one time payment for a perfect 1st round.
  6. Same here but 16-0 is still 16-0. I'm fully expecting a 9-7 day tomorrow with a Final Four team or a couple Elite 8 teams getting bounced. Yup sounds about right for me too
  7. 16-0 in my bracket. Although most of the favorites won.
  8. Wow! that is glorious
  9. Day to Day, much better than I thought when seeing it. Hawks now up a point on the WIld( Wild have a game in hand). So perhaps a Blues,Wild, Sharks route to the SCF?
  10. I only went out to a bar for two of the playoff games (game 1 NLCS) (game 2 WS) the Montero slam was something I will never forget, high fives all around, beer flying everywhere, and half of the bar missed the Dexter HR.
  11. Friend of mine called me up last minute, asked if I wanted to go to that game but I declined because the weather was shitty :banghead:
  12. My first game ever, I was 6 years old Jody Davis hit a grand slam off the Cardinals. 6-12-83. It was a pretty shitty Cubs team in 1983 but it was most memorable for me because it was my first time at Wrigley, we sat two rows behind the Cards dugout and my brother and I each got a ball from one of the Cardinals coaches. I was hooked on the Cubs forever after that day. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/?date=1983-06-12
  13. Not to bring it up again but while watching game 7 at home, I almost puked up my Italian Beef and copious amounts of beer after the Raji Davis HR. My daughter (10 months at the time) horsefeathering vomited all over me in Game 7. Of course we were leading at the time. I mean she horsefeathering soaked me. I had to just jump in the shower with her to clean us both off and I was thinking "is this vomit a bad omen?" Then Davis hit that homer and I was like I have to take this baby back to the store or wherever my wife bought her My son who was 8 months at the time to this day always wakes up between 11-12 screaming for about 10 minutes until one of us comforts him, with one day of his life the exception November 2, 2016. He decided to sleep without waking until 3am, luckily I was still awake watching post game coverage.
  14. The Browns 3 best seasons of the last 25 years were the years they didn't exist
  15. 1994 9-7 1995 9-7 2001 13-3 2005 11-5 2006 13-3 2008 9-7 2010 11-5 2012 10-6 Add to it, 2001 was a total fluke, the 2012 team started at 7-1 and tanked. I really liked the 2011 team until Cutler went down. They were 7-3 at the time before finishing 8-8 in the process of steamrolling a good san diego team when knox got cutty killed. I was at that game and didn't even know anything about Cutler being hurt until like 10pm that night when I got home
  16. 1994 9-7 1995 9-7 2001 13-3 2005 11-5 2006 13-3 2008 9-7 2010 11-5 2012 10-6 Add to it, 2001 was a total fluke, the 2012 team started at 7-1 and tanked. I really liked the 2011 team until Cutler went down. They were 7-3 at the time before finishing 8-8
  17. Not to bring it up again but while watching game 7 at home, I almost puked up my Italian Beef and copious amounts of beer after the Raji Davis HR. I haven't been to too many memorable Cubs games, both playoff games I went to (Dodgers in 08, Dodgers in 16) were duds, I guess the Aramis HR vs the Phillies to complete the comeback in 2008. A bunch of random games from the early 80s to now. Other sports: Bears 2006 NFC Championship game and 2010 Championship game(sucked) Bulls 1998 ECF game 7 vs Indiana Blackhawks: 2010 SCF game 5, 2013 SCF game 5, 2010 1st round game 5 vs Nashville with Kane tying it with 9 seconds left short handed, and Hossa coming out of the box for the winner in OT
  18. I won the ticket lottery to buy tickets for the NLCS. I had to go with NLCS game 2 rather than 6 because of a stupid horsefeathering wedding
  19. A road Cubs game
  20. I thought he jumped the gun a bit bringing in Lester when he did - Hendricks was pitching fantastically and had by all rights struck out the batter that ultimately reached base and led to his removal. But Kipnis was up and the game was relatively close, so it's a more than excusable move. . He had Lester warming up earlier in the game and I'm guessing he had to bring him in when he did otherwise Lester wouldn't be able to come in later after warming up. I wonder how it would all have turned out if the batter was rightfully called out in the bottom of the fifth?
  21. Maddon over managed game 6 and game 7, they won both games. I will give him a pass obviously because they won the horsefeathering WS for the first time since the Teddy Roosevelt administration. I think this has been discussed enough by the media, and Joe handled it well at the time and I don't blame him for growing tired of the same questioning 4 months later.
  22. Another Hat Trick for Kane. Game last night was fantastic, would love to see these teams meet in June.
  23. I believe that happened last year with the Hawks and Blues
  24. This article LOL If my aunt had balls she would be my uncle.
