  1. Don't think that's a valid counterpoint. 3 road underdogs won. Wouldn't be surprised if 2 underdogs win the series. At least 4 of the games were good games. Who cares? Only 1 time ever has a team 5th seeded or lower won the NBA Championship...the 1995 Rockets. The 8th seed in each conference had a .500 record. The Bulls finished 4th in their own division! Stop putting those teams in the playoffs. 3 division winners and a wildcard in each conference is more than enough. Yup, historically the NBA is the most predictable of the 4 major sports. There might be a couple upsets this year, but they should have just started the Finals yesterday with Cleveland vs Golden St.
  2. Damn, was really hoping the Jackets would have won. Crazy game to go to though.
  3. Tonight. It would be nice to score a goal. I do feel the Hawks will end up winning this series. Last year the Preds went into Anaheim won the first two games there, proceeded to lose the next 3 before winning the next two. I think something like that will happen this year, with the exception of the Hawks blowing a 3-2 lead like the Ducks did.
  4. They gave away 30,000 of them at the game last night so I'm sure they'll start popping up on EBay. I went to the game but the Kennedy was fucked up, didn't get in Wrigley until 6:20 and missed the banner giveaway by 5 minutes. They looked cool though, despite the master card nonsense.
  5. Wait, how? My app is telling me I'm blacked out. Well horsefeathers, now that I'm home and tried to watch on the NBC Sports app on my roku, it says that I'm blacked out. But I have a directv subscription...I should be ok to watch it. :banghead: Try signing out and back in. That happened to me last week.
  6. Had it last night. It was pretty good, but a bit too greasy. Still recommend getting it, though. I had it yesterday $13.50 for a huge ass sandwich, pretty good but the brisket had way too much fat on it. Maybe I just had bad luck.
  7. Too subtle. Need to go full 1906 Giants. They should have a ceremony of some sort before every home game.
  8. He's 3-0 as a starter, so I'd say he's getting the important parts right Related note, but I just remembered that Heyward Fan managed to go 0-3 as a game thread starter in a year that the Cubs won 103 games. I went to 5 games last year including one postseason game, the Cubs went 1-4. Their lone win was the Heyward game, I left right before the 13th inning. I am going tonight.
  9. I once volunteered and got $800 and was rebooked on another flight 6 hours later. This situation, sounds like they had to stay overnight in Chicago. I agree, stop being cheap. Also, the money is only good in airline credits to be used within one year. At least that was the case with me.
  10. LOL, Her wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisa_Fletcher "She also likes to investigate victims of crime and publish irrelevant details of past legal cases to shame them. [2]"
  11. DAMN. Have to try that on Wednesday
  12. Is the Green Lot or Camry lot as it now called still open to the general public? Haven't parked there in a couple years. I am going Wednesday and probably won't get there until 6pm so I am hoping the lot isn't full being that it is ring night.
  13. Is anyone else getting a real choppy feed from CSN?
  14. Yeah he has been bad, and Kaplan is always annoying. I'm just glad I can stream CSN from work now
  15. The dynamic pricing is out of control for opening night. Yeah I started pulling up pairs but they were $299 each plus fees came to $344. Granted they were section 10 row 10 which are fantastic seats. But out of my budget.
  16. Not sure if this is the right spot for this I was able to pull up single tickets to the home opener and pairs of tickets to the ring night just now on Cubs.com
