  1. I'll be updating for the playoffs after Sunday's game. Logan will be up first, though. It would be great if he was the only postseason thread starter by going 11-0
  2. Just win 1 this weekend to avoid 60 losses
  3. The 30 second rule didn't apply there. Why? Because it was game ending? What is the rule for challenging a walk off play? You have to challenge immediately
  4. The protest would stem from the fact that the umpires didn't get the Reds 30 seconds to challenge the play. The people that timed it that say the refs gave the Reds anywhere from 21-28 second before walking off, and its obvious the Reds wanted to challenge since Price supposedly chased down the umpires To me its a legit protest, but do the Reds really care enough to file one? The 30 second rule didn't apply there. Yeah on MLB network Harold Reynolds and the other guy brought up the rule, saying the 30 second rule applies for non game ending plays only. They were both saying how stupid that is.
  5. If I can find Zombie Dust I will go with that, otherwise Daisy Cutter

  8. This year game 1 and 2 are on Friday and Saturday, last year they were Monday, Tuesday for the home games. I think prices will be a lot higher.
  9. Yeah mine was there. Between my wife, me, my brother, and friends we had about 15 email addresses and all were rejections. I think I read somewhere it was about a 20-1 chance of being selected. Not including this board, I know about 45 people/email addresses that registered, and not one won. I keep trying to offer up $100+face value for a single ticket to people that won on Reddit, twitter and here, but I'm probably offering much less than what the scalpers are. Really want to go but can't break the bank more than $100+face so looks like I'm SOL for the division series :( What about doing Murphy's bleachers all inclusive deal that was floating around in this thread?
  10. I hope they don't go the Blackhawks route for you guys. All electronic tickets. Wouldn't really bother me that much, but I doubt it. I haven't heard or seen anything yet even electronically, though. My dad's friend in the 80's had season tickets and had unused stubs for the 84 and 89 World Series, wasn't worth much but he framed them and gave them to me for a birthday present. I'd think If they won the WS this year they would be valuable if you printed off the electronic ones and kept the paper ones in mint condition.
  11. I haven't heard a peep. I hope they don't go the Blackhawks route for you guys. All electronic tickets.
  12. Gmail filtered it to Promotions. There's a Promotions folder? Yeah mine was there. Between my wife, me, my brother, and friends we had about 15 email addresses and all were rejections. I think I read somewhere it was about a 20-1 chance of being selected.
  13. I liked the VWW, but that was because I could get about 150 windows open between 4 computers at work. Almost always was able to get tickets that way. The lottery is the most fair so I understand why they went that route. I would have thought they would have sent out the winners emails by now seeing as the registration for the NLDS ended last Wednesday.
  14. I honestly don't know who I would like the Cubs to play. Any of the three I believe the Cubs should be able to win in 4 games. I suppose the Giants scare me the most because of Madbum/Cueto but their offense is bad and their bullpen is terrible. The Mets have rotation issues, the Cardinals? LOL
  15.   Once again their "flubbies postseason thread' will be the most active thread for the year 2016 like it was last year. They sure are obsessed with the Cubs, when the Sox won I really didn't care especially since Houston was in the Cubs division, I really didn't want the Astros to win. I think I watched like 1 inning of that whole WS.
  16. To be fair to the Diamonbacks they had to play the 90 win Rockies and 89 win Padres 19 times each. Meanwhile the Cubs played in the NL Central. I wouldnt say that the Cubs were "on paper" better than Arizona. It is debatable who was better on paper. The only team the Cubs were far and away better than "on paper" of the last 4 playoff losses was the 2008 Dodgers. I mean, it's debatable in the sense that anything is debatable, but there's a correct opinion here. Baseball Prospectus even did a big pre-series piece on how lopsided the matchup was and had the Cubs at like 2:1 to win. Yeah, and ok fine the 07 Diamondbacks were on paper worse than the Cubs, but to say the 03 Marlins or 15 Mets were on paper worse than the Cubs when most people called each series a toss up at the start of the series kinda makes the statement that the Cubs were on paper better than their last 4 playoff losses kinda wrong.
  17. wait what To be fair to the Diamonbacks they had to play the 90 win Rockies and 89 win Padres 19 times each. Meanwhile the Cubs played in the NL Central. I wouldnt say that the Cubs were "on paper" better than Arizona. It is debatable who was better on paper. 18. Or the 2007 Diamondbacks
  19. Not sure if the 2003 Marlins were on paper worse than the Cubs.
  20. Registration for the NLDS has now ended, would have to imagine the drawing and sale should happen in the next few days.
  21. Both the Bears and Cubs should get wins today,
  22. How did Almora horsefeathers up? Game day just said La Stella singled but Almora was out at second?
  23. In order of preference for 1st round opponent, I would like it Cardinals, Giants, then Mets
