That's been the case a lot the last couple of days; it happened to me too. Posting is VERY slow right now. One way you can find out if your post went through is, before reposting, you can go to that thread. Even if your post doesn't appear yet, if you hit the Reply button, you will see (below the box for typing your reply) a review of the previous posts in that thread (from latest to earliest). You can look there to see if your post went through. Confirming the response to your question, we try to keep discussion on a topic to a single thread. It makes it easier for people to keep up with the discussion if they don't have to read multiple threads to do so. When someone starts a redundant thread, therefore, we usually either lock it or merge it into the earlier thread. That shouldn't be interpreted as saying there's something wrong with your post, just that there's an existing discussion on that topic. Normally when we lock a thread for that reason we provide a link to the original thread; I don't know if that was done in your case since I wasn't the moderator who locked it.
