Indiana starting RB Darius Willis is out for the year with a patellar tendon injury. He will undergo surgery on Oct. 20 and is expected to make a full recovery.

Rangers just swept the Yankees a couple of weeks ago. Before the playoffs started I thought the Yankees were a better matchup for the Rangers than the Rays. Congrats to Nolan Ryan. Knowing he will need to lean on him for the rest of the playoffs was it necessary for Washington to let Lee go out for the ninth with a 4 run lead and wind up with 120 pitches? I still want to know why he was warming up in the bullpen in game 3. Because Ron Washington graduated from the Dusty Baker School of Managing, dude. And Ron paid his tuition with drugs instead of money. That explains some of Dusty's decision-making over the years.

I think Greene can be productive even with a healthy LT, much like Williams and Stewart for Carolina the past two years. Last week I started both in the NSBB league. LT had the yardage, Greene had the TD, and both gave me double-digit points.

Yep. Once reports started coming out that Dusty refused to listen to Larry people started properly directing their hatred toward Dusty rather than Larry.

I was at the game. There were quite a few Bears fans there. I enjoyed the first quarter, before Todd Collins remembered that he's Todd Collins. Fortunately by then they had enough of a lead that the putrid Panthers had no realistic chance of overcoming. Lovie should be fired on the spot if he ever puts Collins in a game again for anything but mopup duty. -

Me too, but I see an equally poor showing by Carolina with Smith out and a rookie QB with virtually no receiving corps. Could be a 6-3 type of game. -
Unless it's due to something unforeseen like a pitcher being moved up from Monday to Sunday at the last minute.

I haven't been updating this since interest was so low this year, but with the season over now it seems like time. Bad year for me (tied for #449 out of 550). Carmona (-59) was my downfall. All of my other players gave me positive points, although a couple of them were only single digits. I find it interesting to look at the last place team. That team's manager obviously doesn't understand how this contest works. His team was Joe Mauer, Albert Pujols, Chase Utley, Evan Longoria, Hanley Ramirez, Ryan Braun, Matt Kemp, Justin Upton, Roy Halladay, and Tim Lincecum.

Jarrett is one who let character issues overshadow his talent. I think he just cared about collecting his paycheck and wasn't concerned with actually working and earning it.

I'm not worried about that. Quade played Soto when he was healthy. Yeah; playing Hill over Soto was Lou's problem earlier in the season. Quade's problem was playing Hill over Castillo.
