  1. Highlights, for those who may have missed it on Sunday.
  2. It looks like the road is clear for the NFL to finally enforce the suspensions on the Williamses. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6101481
  3. Nope; I don't believe any punters are.
  4. Also elected: Marshall Faulk, Deon Sanders, Shannon Sharpe, Chris Hanburger, Les Richter, and Ed Sabol. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6093495
  5. He's out, as is Smith.
  6. You haven't missed a thing. Tim has every first round pick and EY Jr still sucks. Not every pick. Adam wouldn't trade me his! Actually, I only have one first rounder this year. But it is the first one. :D And the first pick in the prospect draft.
  7. Your principal should fire you for not knowing the difference between principal and principle. :D corrected, thank you for catching that, I actually new the difference and just typed without looking at what I wrote. Thank You again Glad two bee of service.
  8. He refused to play with a sprained knee, duh. Everybody knows that's much worse.
  9. classy guy! Classy or stupid? Maybe to his wife stupid and years later to his kids, but I respect the guy sticking to honest principals. You just don't see that anymore Your principal should fire you for not knowing the difference between principal and principle. :D
  10. If Otto is selected maybe it's just with the intent of being a caretaker for a year or so until Kerry Wood retires and takes over the spot.
  11. Here are the remaining puppies that slipped through the cracks in my earlier post because of the bad link on the Animal Planet web site that seems to be fixed now:
  12. Don't forget Enrique Wilson. And Damian Jackson. I actually saw both of them play in the minors. They played for Kinston, North Carolina (the Indians' A+ team) and at the time I lived about 25 miles away, so I went to a few of their games each year. I'm going to miss the K-Tribe when they move after next year. They were a nice sports-related internship provider to our journalism/PR majors, too. I read that they're trying to attract a new team to Kinston, but I haven't seen any details about who that might be. That comment may have been wishing more than something being imminent. It's too bad when something like the current Mudcats franchise moving causes a domino effect like that.
  13. We've done it that way the last couple of years and as far as I know it's worked fine. It seems to me like it's easier to do it that way rather than having to drop non-keepers one by one (I don't think you can drop players in bulk but I could be wrong about that). Something else to be done is adding the draft picks to our rosters so we can finalize the trades involving draft picks.
  14. I'm thinking this thread is past its prime.
  15. Yes, same deadline. Hopefully it will be set up the same as the last couple of years, where we could mark our keepers and have the rest of the players dropped automatically.

  17. Apparently there are some bad links on the Animal Planet site where I got these from. The link that was labeled as "Next: Shang" actually redirected to Big Red instead. There are a few others that I missed because of this. Maybe I'll get a chance to add them within the next couple of days.
  18. Seconded.
  19. Yeah, good idea. I shouldn't have buried something as important as the Puppy Bowl in a thread about a meaningless football game. :D
  20. Fixed.
  21. The starting lineup for Puppy Bowl 7:
  22. Montanez and Wellemeyer brought back within a couple of days of each other. Get ready for the imminent return of Neifi and Macias.
  23. Go Steelers. Rooting for the Packers would seem like rooting for the Cardinals in the World Series after they knock the Cubs out of the playoffs.
  24. The Tigers traded Armando Galarraga to the D-Backs for pitching prospects Kevin Eichhorn and Ryan Robowski. The Tigers agreed to terms with Galarraga last week to avoid arbitration, then almost immediately designated him for assignment.
  25. I'm in. I like the way the Cubs responded after he took over last year and I like what he's said during the offseason.
