    I guess it depends on where the Bears end up. If it is #2, and there is a big demand then sure, take all the 1sts you can get. But I feel like that needs to happen in conjunction with a good FA period, ie picking up maybe Jenkins (OT) and Payne as well as some other useful pieces, especially on O. I'm of the opinion that nothing in the draft should impact how they attack FA. They need to sign at least 6 Big-ish FA deals. At least 2 on each line and then another 2 at various spots. Then fill in with depth after that. Even after all of that, they'll have opportunities to upgrade at multiple spots at the draft. There wont be a position where I think you can say "there's not room" for a top flight prospect. But they'll be covered "enough" at every spot to be trying for WC/division in 2023 if they hit on those FA. well, I think we agree. the FA period needs to be an active and team changing one because of how empty the team is of talent. lets hope Poles can do that

    Definitely number 2. We need help everywhere and the ability to have a top 3 pick when we don't need a QB in a year with high profile top of the draft QBs is an absolute blessing we have to take advantage of. Would be fantastic to get an elite stud like Anderson but seems more valuable to be in a situation where you get an extra mid round pick this year and then get 2 first round picks each of the next 2 years. I dont know if I could see Lovie passing on Anderson and if the Texans did take him #1, I would be all in on #2. You could still get a quality OT or DT at 12-20. But, if Anderson is there, I dont see how you dont take him.

    Has the NFL gotten to the point where winning consistently with over 50 points is a reasonable quest? I agree with UK, if I am top 5 and I don't get a reasonable trade offer, I'm looking at Anderson (maybe carter although I'd prefer a DT or 2 in FA), or the top OL. DT you could sit on until late in the 2nd, but a top edge would be way too hard for me to pass on

    Does not appear it would have been behind Mooney, appears it would have hit him closer to in stride than anything, too bad, may have gone for some major yardage. Yea, that would have been a nice pass to Mooney

    To be fair, it would have been a bad throw to Mooney as well. He was crossing and looks like it would have been behind him. Just saw the endzone angle and pretty clear Fields was throwing to Mooney, it was accurate, and Montgomery moved into the throwing lane (and jumped) as Fields is releasing the ball. Could you post a link of it? I'd like to see that play the way you are describing it

    Anderson and Payne (FA) would be amazing. yea, thats exactly what I was thinking. Plus it would make Siaki Ika a nice DT addition to the Wats/Payne rotation. 6-5, 358 lbs would be one hell of a plug in the middle of the D line

    the thing thats pretty interesting about yours is the number of players take in the first 66 picks. That would be a team building draft. I just think if you can get Anderson or Carter and get a 2nd 1st round, it would make the D so much better

    I traded down twice in the 1st and I think I did a lot better Getting the third pick definitely makes it easier. I was able to get multiple 1sts for next year along with 3 players in the first 33. I traded #3 for #5 (Seahawks iirc), but I couldn't say no to Will Anderson

    Jets are a possible win, especially if Fields suits up. An offense our D can actually hang with cuz Wilson is terrible. And there's a slight chance the Vikings are in rest mode week 18. 5 wins wouldn't shock me. They've been in most games this year. Unfortunately they're gonna lose almost every tie breaker for draff positioning, so even if you want to look at the bright side of draft positing it's still basically guaranteed to be worst case scenario. no way the Bears beat the Jets if they cant beat Detroit, Atlanta. And MN in rest mode would be a even test for this Bears team, and its in MN - so thats also a likely loss
