  1. Yea there is definitely some trend that way. Vegas went with 65,000. But yea the basic idea is that those extra seats are the most expensive to build and generate the least revenue. Still, even with that slight downward trend, didn't expect a team to go all the way down to 60k I wonder if there is some site constraint, ie to make the stadium bigger seat wise would mean more land acquisition, etc
  2. i thought we ended his career in the 2015 playoffs the Cubs dont have their version of Corey Wootten to pull that off
  3. do you think the proposed 60k is undersized? Yes, without a doubt. I edited my last post and added this, but I'll put it here instead: I guess I only react with the "Nashville is growing doesn't mean Titans fan base is" because Nashville is obviously known for so much more in terms of the music and entertainment scene alone. I could see a lot of out-of-townees moving there solely for that, and that wouldn't mean city growth = stadium seating growth. But your point about other Tennesseans (that word looks almost Greek with all the a's and e's) traveling to Nashville may counter that idea. Any idea why they undersized it this time then?
  4. Maybe it's a growing city but how many are actually Titan fans? A lot of Titans fans come here from all over the state. People eat, sleep, and horsefeathers football here in TN. do you think the proposed 60k is undersized?

  6. Bills interior looks dated already in those images, Tennessee's looks like a soccer stadium. I like the Titans better
  7. For the sake of argument. Let's say 14 is their draft position. Would trading down make sense here? I haven't looked at anything related to draft projections Especially in light of all the cap space I think you just take the pick wherever it lies. They've got the money to ensure the team has adequate depth next year, take your swing at an impact player. I think the only way I trade back is if somehow they have a top 5 pick but also at the same time we feel really great about Fields, which feels like a very unlikely combo. I agree with this. If the Bears dont have a top 5 pick, ie one that could get them multiple 1st rounders in return, then they absolutely should take the bpa at one of their many positions of need at the 14th slot
  8. Oh I get that, and you can't really blame him for Patrick's injury but it's pretty striking how disastrous his non-draft moves have been. Hell, even in the draft he grabbed us a return man who isn't that great at it and sucks at everything else
  9. Yea but look at how awesome Muhammad has mentoring the kids by eating up all the paying time at DE And Pringle? Yea he'll be awesome! (Someday....at something) Patrick. Ahhhh Patrick. You lasted 6 games Maybe Pace was better then Poles, he just had the wrong coach (?)
  10. For sure his athleticism and innate ability are just gonna win often. But to the extent scheme is unlocking a more productive tier on that run game, it doesn't seem ideal if you're ripping a gameplan from elsewhere rather than having a deeper concept of why it works. Maybe the more they steal the better they understand it and incorporate into their natural package, but the element of surprise must have had some impact on a team not prepared for what they were seeing. I didn't think much about the ripping from the Ravens angle, maybe I should. I saw it as more the Bears recognizing that a Fields run heavy offense was the best way to find consistent success, and the mini-bye was the perfect time to implement, and the patriots the perfect opponent to kick it off against. We'll see what happens next week. It would be so Bears to get everyone excited on MNF and then come out Sunday and watching fields take the snap under center 80% of the time and no designed runs. eh, it would be so Bears for them to come out in the first half with designed runs and change back to their same-old offense at half time. Or after the scripted plays. But after a whole game of the new way, and having success with it the ENTIRE game, can you really see them regressing this week? I cant...this isn't Nagy Part 2....I hope
  11. Lamar ran for 107 yards against the Pats in Week 3. Multiple patriots players said the Bears were running the same stuff the Ravens were. Great of Eberflus to recognize and take advantage. I guess the question is why the Patriots were not better prepared, unless they just don't have the scheme/talent to stop it. how could they have predicted that the Bears coaching staff would emulate the Ravens when they've failed to do anything like that the entire season?
  12. Gordon basically refused to score a TD on that one. He certainly could have outrun everyone down the sidelines if he wanted to. I thought that was odd, but he was tired and the game was over at that point. Didn't Tywuan Thornton run him down? He was the fastest receiver at the combine with a 4.28 or something crazy Thornton did run him down, but Gordon looked like he was running out of steam also
  13. I posted that video yesterday and I think the best response was that it looks like bad Madden AI that play alone seems to run contrary to Mustiphers high pass block grade, but it also looks very typical of his play in general
  14. Mustipher with an 83.6 pass block grade. How is that possible.
  15. I thought Gordon was beat, wr had a step on him, until Gordon was streaking down the sideline for 42 yards. He closed on the wr fast and it helped the throw was a tad behind
  16. Roquan might just get his contract 12 t, 1 sack, 1 tfl, 1 Qb hit, 1 pd and an int Did everything but score and yet I feel great about the D not scoring anything because the offense just took care of it
  17. A defense the hurts people Is this 1984
  18. horsefeathers it let's go for 50. In a year?
  19. And not all special teams or defensive scores, speaking of which, how happy is the Defense right now? They were decent, now the offense looks good?
  20. Buck tells a story In response, Aikman tells a story that ends up not relating to anything.
  21. He threw well on the short throws at the beginning of the game, but the wet ball flings suck Which ones? There was one okay short one to Kmet. Every other one I can remember was off mark I'm probably thinking of more mid range, but he had several 7-12 yard throws.
  22. Deep ball to mooney needs work, but I love taking the shot
