    I'm currently tied for 1st (technically in 2nd) with Brady and Cousins at QB in a league filled with Bears fans. So pissed at myself for not picking up Fields when he was available (and picked up for $2) on waivers like 3-4 weeks ago. Fields is somehow available in my league where I'm in first place. I had half of mind to add him last week, but I have Hurts ans really just wanting to maximize other roster spots and not carry a 2nd QB. But hell, I'm going for it now. If I jinx him, sorry. Since it's a mid-weekend claim, p/up fields and play him as your rb. 175 yards!

    I'd agree. With as much misdirection that gets schemed in today's NFL,tackles and guards need to be able to play both ways. How many teams play strictly drop back passing? Maybe TB? Do the Chargers (I have never seen Herbert play live, so I dont know what they do on O)? But going back the the offense in general, I think you are looking at Oline upgrades, RB help, and WR, but its a faaar cry from where this team was in week 2, or last year, or even 4 years ago. Justin Fields is just that good.

    the offense almost doesnt need to be upgraded at this point. maybe accented, better interior OL perhaps, more time developing Fields/Mooney/Claypool/Kmet

    I wouldn't mind losing a bunch of shootouts where the "future" guys all show out; then having the pick one before the packers and trading down to deny them the QB of their choice. Then they reach, overdraft a guy and get stuck in QB hell for ages. question I have for GB fans, wheres the Love already?

    the last 3 games remind me of Urlacher and Browns rookie seasons. You can see the talent they have, its a matter of getting the rest of the team up to their speed. I think the Bears will be all kinds of fun in the next few years

    It doesn't really say that. It says the Steelers thought the Bears suck more than the Packers and their 2nd rounder would be a higher pick so they took that deal. May have been a mistake based on what we've seen the last few weeks. wouldn't it be fun if the Bears end up at like #7 and GB at #8, or even #6. just enough to make that trade more about screwing over the packers than it is about how Pittsburghs benefit by choosing Chi over GB

    But this is where I remind you draft positioning improved so you feel better again. this is where I remind you that Poles has yet to prove he can draft at all so you should feel doom again eta: I probably get excited about draft position a lot less than most do, but so far the best pick the Bears have had in (probably) the last 50 years was a guy who was falling in the 1st round. Higher picks are obviously good, but if you don't know what to do with them...good luck. Poles first offensive pick was a 25 year old return guy who sucks at everything. Inspiring

    This isn't a single game though, it's been 3 straight games of 29 or more points and strong play from Justin. 2 came against really good defensive teams. And last week isn't really a "yeah but" because the Bears were able to come back in that game and it was competitive until a defensive TD, which wasn't Justin's causing (besides not touching the dude). Also, I wanted this win. It's hard to root for a loss when the Bears actually have a chance. I didn't think they would, but the only thing missing from his resume is a GW TD drive. He's now done his part to get one vs. Miami, Washington, Minnesota, and last year in Pittsburgh. At some point, a confidence building win would mean more to the team that a boost in draft slot. thats where I am at too. I hate watching my teams lose in general, but I'd like to see Fields be rewarded with a win.

    lol ok I mean you’re clearly wrong. Set aside your feelings for a game, or a season. This is actually a fantastic game for the bears so far. they dont have an nfl offense the rest of the team is TERRIBLE they arent close to anything right now. maybe with next offseason, but right now, they suck

    Wrong. They’re closer to a championship than they were 2 weeks ago. I couldn’t care less if they set records for futility on defense. They finally have an NFL offense. God bless. lol ok
