  1. That's cool, but you're probably wrong https://www.chicitysports.com/braxton-jones-is-a-huge-steal-for-bears/ https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35253675/2022-nfl-week-16-power-rankings-1-32-poll-pleasant-surprises
  2. there's definitely hope and good reasons to be hopeful, but I am disappointed with with Poles has done FA wise to date.
  3. That's exactly what Fields will tell himself as he falls asleep every night of his inevitably shortened, doomed to be stuck behind a Bears OL NFL career. Hey, look on the bright side: Poles has no regrets
  4. So, apparently Jenkins is fine https://www.chicagobears.com/news/teven-jenkins-fortunate-to-avoid-serious-injury-injury-report-khalil-herbert?fbclid=IwAR3b_msMT2Pd9HahU2GTesxPYcW6juuhU8rMAz2bbUnS5QSs1_u4G83IuK4&mibextid=Zxz2cZ#lbx4wbpzk8hwpkkmtdn Good news
  5. I was told that this is Bear weather. you need to leave your jacket and shirt at home
  6. I'm terrified hes going to blow an acl in one of these meaningless games, its why i shut the game off yesterday after his leg cramp, thinking he had something worse
  7. I was listening to the game as I had other things going on, but I heard Fields go down. when that happened, I turned the game off because there wasn't much reason to follow along if Fields was out. I missed him coming back into the game and the Pringle TD. But, long story short, I was confused as to why Eberflus let him back in with a injured leg, didn't see or hear anything about it being cramps until Davids post
  8. Unless there was some other injury I'm missing, Fields just had cramps and went back into the game. ah, I thought he pulled his hamstring or worse, glad it was just cramps hopefully Jenkins is nothing serious, but it looked scary as hell
  9. any word on the Jenkins injury or Fields leg injury?
  10. He has missed plenty in decent weather games. yea, Santos is garbage
  11. wth are we corner blitzing
  12. I wonder what Jeb is going to spend all that money on...new socks?
  13. Yes, but did something new happen on this front? he went from being okay last year to bad this year. it was bad regardless, but now we don't even get a decent player out of it yea, Keith was [expletive] but I dearly miss the days of a D-man who could take over a game - Seth basically gives the game away
  14. I mean you did the analysis, it's right there. Bears will likely win 1 more game....the Iggles Lol
  15. I said EARLY 3RD As in mid second? walking out of the tunnel for the 2nd half...how is that not clear
  16. If Eagles only put up 23, Hurts got hurt way before the 3rd. Also please don't get hurt Hurts. My fantasy team needs you. I said EARLY 3RD
  17. I'll pull the homer vote, Bears 35-23 Basically, Hurts strains his knee early 3rd quarter, Fields shines
  18. i dont think any of that matters, there is only 1 bye this year i believe, and thats clearly Philly. only thing that comes into play is if SF and Minny see each other in the divisional round Well 2 seed gets HFA in divisional round. Or you're saying that doesn't matter unless both 2 and 3 seed win wild card round? I'd still think you'd rather have the guaranteed HFA looking ahead to Div round. yes
  19. Superstar Brock Purdy. Don't think Cowboys tiebreaker is really relevant unless they can somehow catch Philly. So it really comes down to Minny and SF. Them being tied or SF back 1 keeps the game relevant. Just can't have them gain two games on Minny over next 3 weeks. i dont think any of that matters, there is only 1 bye this year i believe, and thats clearly Philly. only thing that comes into play is if SF and Minny see each other in the divisional round
  20. But why not just root for Fields to play well and the team to lose? Defense is plenty bad enough. Because it's stupid
  21. Pete Carroll would likely just resign Smith I think. One of the reasons Russ left was that they disagreed on whether they should throw more or run more. Since Seattle already has 2 1sts, I could see them drafting Anderson. The Bears could absolutely get a haul because of it @ #3
  22. that last paragraph has me entirely confused, they love Anderson but would trade back for the possibility of 2-3 qb's? Do they have 2 1st round picks? noted on the Texans being racists. I mean, when has that not been true for all Texans (save old style) ETA: I would also be very sad if Lovie didnt get another year...or 8 Yeah, I was mostly rambling. But my thinking is they feel Anderson is unequivocally the best player in the draft. They do have 2 1sts (Browns pick for Watson). If they take a QB 1, they won't get Anderson. If they take Anderson 1, they may be able to get 1 of the top 3 QBs by trading back up. And a trade up for a QB is much more justifiable than a trade up for a DE. Ah, I get it
  23. we arent, that's why some of us really want Anderson/Carter if we get pick #2. They very well may not drop, in fact lovie at #1 may likely end up taking one of Anderson/Carter I believe Lovie may not even have a job next year. They fired their coach last year that had a similar 1-win roster that Lovie has this year, but led them to 4 wins. Plus, the Texans are notoriously racist and only hired Lovie because they would have looked bad hiring a white guy after firing their previous black coach in 1 year after he overachieved. And it was the same time as the Brian Flores stuff was going on, so I'm convinced they hired Lovie (which was out of nowhere) because they were supposedly down to 2 candidates (Flores and a white guy, can't remember which one) and didn't want to pick the white one while Flores was suing the league for being racist. It's also possible the Texans fall in love with Anderson at 1 and are willing to use their other 1st round pick (from the Browns) to trade up for whichever QB falls past 2-3. If Kiper is right and some teams like Levis as QB1, then they could potentially move back for one of the guys that most consider the top 2 QBs. that last paragraph has me entirely confused, they love Anderson but would trade back for the possibility of 2-3 qb's? Do they have 2 1st round picks? noted on the Texans being racists. I mean, when has that not been true for all Texans (save old style) ETA: I would also be very sad if Lovie didnt get another year...or 8
