    this always bothered me about the "alternative" movement of music in the '90's, the idea of "selling out" if you dont do what you did the album before, you "sold out" Danny Elfman had it right in 1979. "There's Nothing Wrong With Capatalism" Also had it right with the "Batman" soundtrack. Man that was sweet! lol touche'

    If the Cubs only show passive interest and St. Louis signs Giles, I would think it safe to say Jim Hendry is not interested in competing in the NL Central. quote of the night.

    I've never seen in Hairstons stats 60 steals I dont know. wish the Cubbies were in the Series....... or 23 CS. His baserunning hurts the team. and his 60 steals help the team thats still 37+, which is well above Hairston........ The point is that the 23 hurt the team more than the 60 help. The white sox would score more runs if he never tried to steal at all really? I dont agree..I really dont. I guess I just believe its better to push then to hold...but then again whatta I know...... stats tell a story, this I agree. but stats dont account for the nuances..even an ATTEMPTED SB out is better then a double play out....

    Huh? Wood '98 makes me think of slurves and nasty curveballs. Particularly with Bagwell up. in the astro dome maybe....and getting rocked I remember him throwing heat on EVERY pitch, the curves and slurves came if he got hit....

    that or it will just piss us off to watch Guillen actually use a bullpen the way it should be used....the "anti-Dusty" if you will btw, 80-some pitches in 8 innings? why can the Cubs do that? what do you mean? The cubs are excellent at keeping the opposing pitchers pitch count down. touche' my bad...........lol

    speaking of fantasy, I was daydreaming today about throwing a 98 mph fastball w/movement...but I COULDNT decide on a complimentary pitch, the 83 mph change-up or the KNUCKLE BALL..which I have an extreme fetish for....

    your not the only one. The NLCS was the only time I'm ever pulling for the Crapstros. Nobody hates Houston more than me. If I, of all people, can refocus my rage and bitterness in an appropriate manner, you can too. Screw the Sox. lol man I miss Chicago..........

    We already used all the cubs comparisons on the angels. the Halos did do an EXCELLANT job as posing for a Dusty Baker managed team....

    Who let him in here ??? all the bitterness around here.....jeeeesh... :cyclopsani: I just want to see a Championship in Chicago again...even if it is to the "Evil Empire" White Sox... Chicago REALLY needs winning baseball.......
