WE'RE NOT GETTING LEW FORD, TOO UCH VALUE FOR MPLS TO GIVE UP... I WOULD AGREE 10 MIL IS ABIT MUCH FOR HIM, BUT DO YOU THINK HIS AVAILIBILITY WILL HELP THE MARKET ON CF?
TRUE, HOWEVER IN STADIMS LIKE PITT, JUICEBOX, NEW BUSCH, MIL I THINK HIS D COULD BE AN ASSET, NOT MUCH IF ANY DROP OFF FROM PATTERSON BUT MORE RELIABLE OFFENSE
HEY MAN, i BEAT YOU BY A FEW MINUTES!! LOL great minds think alike. I doubt the Twins would be interested in Wlaker, the media acted like he REALLY wanted out of MN when he was here and I doubt the fans would want him back.... but I like the rest of the peeps you proposed
http://www.startribune.com/stories/509/5617772.html basically, Hunter is owed $10 mill in 2006 and $12 mil in 2007... would he be a nice CF in Wrigley? cubs give up Patterson and who else?
It wouldn't be worth it. The Cubs are still 5.5 games behind Houston, with several teams to pass. They are a longshot at best for the playoffs. If the Cubs aren't likely to make the playoffs anyway, I'll take my chances with Burnitz (or Murton) for the rest of the year and take my chances to get Giles in the offseason rather being stuck with Alou. it would be worth it to burn the 'stros
i dont get it. i see Woods slider come out of his had, it starts to drop, and nest thing you know, the batters ar just FLAILING their bats at it likes its a giant T-bone man I wish I had that talent
