  1. Exactly, if Fox was involved they would have pulled him. I swear people dont think sometimes Or they could be waiting until the game is over. I kinda of doubt that. When LaRoche found out he was traded he had to immediately left the dugout. So if Fox was dealt he would have been sub in for by Jeff Baker and he would have left already. I think it's a good bet that Fox won't be dealt.
  2. I agree on all parts. And I believe none of the prospects you mention will be a part of the trade.
  3. I think the reason why the Cubs are asking for Gorzo and Grabow is in part they don't know, don't expect to get anything from Ryan.
  4. Gorz has been unlucky, but he isn't bad. And Grabow has been a bit lucky this yr.
  5. What an EPIC failure of a thread. If I didn't know better maybe we have some closet White Sox fans on this sites? Nah.......that can't be.
  6. Gorz seemed to be unlucky this yr with the Pirates. A 5.19 era, yet a 1.15whip and a .194 BAA. At AAA Gorz was 2.48 era with a 1.18 whip and a .228 BAA. So it seems Gorz was a bit unlucky in his stint with the Pirates earlier in the season.
  7. The morons going to send Jackson and Fox to the Pirates for these 2 pieces of crap, isnt he? No.
  8. But what's weird is that Grabow gets RH hitters (.234/.344/.355/.699) out better then LH hitters (.275 .362 .353 .715) . 3-year splits: LH- .252/.309/.343 in 242 AB's RH- .246/.329/.403 in 501 AB's I was mentioning this yr's stats, but looking at his three yrs stats, I definately wouldn't call it a "stupid" acqisition as mention have mention.
  9. At this point if Hart can get through 5 innings, I call that a good day.
  10. Why do people mention OFFSEASON trades when I'm talking about IN SEASON trades especially at the deadline.
  11. I would to. I think something along the lines of Mitch Atkins and a 15-20 prospect in the org, is about right for Grabow. But what's weird is that Grabow gets RH hitters (.234/.344/.355/.699) out better then LH hitters (.275 .362 .353 .715) .
  12. guh....come on. i'm in a good mood and you bring this. Vitters for Grabow? Name the last time Hendry traded a TOP prospect during the season? I mean someon of Vitters ability. Hate on Hendry if you want, but he does do trades very solid. Cesar Izturis says hi. You can't be serious.

  14. Agreed. Certain people are overreacting before anything happens.
  15. I'm not exactly concern with the game. Russ Ortiz+depleted bullpen+Cecil Cooper=like the Cubs chances in this game.
  16. Our LF/Loogy could outperform Hart, but the Cubs want him in the bullpen.
  17. I am REALLY tired on Carlos Lee. The sooner the Astros send him back to the AL, the better.
  18. I was more pissed about how little Philly got in return for Rolen moreso then the Cards getting Scott.
  19. According to the rules, a player must be in the Top 20% range of FA (unless that's change) to be award Type A. My guess is Scutaro will be classified as a Type B FA at best.
  20. Hey at least the Dodgers fans are taking it in stride........
  21. They're countering the Cubs "get more lefthanded" strategy. Well Tim, I thought that was pretty obviously to everyone that the Phillies were trying to counter what the Cubs are tryig to do. D'uh.... :D
