    Word is the Jets offered Fletcher Cox, Mychal Kendricks, and several draft picks for #2. I think Kendricks is definitely on the block (ILB depth chart also has DeMeco Ryans, Kiko Alonzo, and Brad Jones, all who they just either signed, re-signed, or traded their best player for). And I'd imagine, they'd trade a DL if they can get further up in the draft, to possibly make a move for Mariota. Rather have Cox than Wilkerson, though if I'm giving up 7 (I'd also want their 1st and 2nd). You mean Eagles, right?

    I loved hearing that from him. Basically said that it's within the rules and it's in the best long-term interests of the team so Boras needs to shut his mouth. Now if we could just get Manfred (and yeah, the MLBPA) to implement the DH in the NL we can toss Schwarber in there and dong everyone else into the L column for years.

    not sure how I feel about McDonald... I mean, I know he's a pretty good player and a good fit for Fangio's D, but with his legal issues I feel he's one step away from Goodell bringing down a big punishment and I don't want to count on a guy who could have something like that happen.

    I think he will start with the big league team. Having said that, I think if they were to send Javy down for a couple of weeks and let him beat up some AAA pitchers with KB and called them both up at the same time it could take some pressure off of Javy. Now, the problem with that would be if he goes down and struggles, it would create some serious issues. Ultimately, like I said above I think he starts in MLB, but it's an option I thought about.

    I thinkk that would be a good get... Could play center or either guard spot, which could allow Long to kick out to RT maybe if they're satisfied with Garza/DLP (is he still with the Bears) at Center

    Yeah, to me the bigger punishment is by far the scholarship reductions... gonna have to hit on basically every guy to have a good team. Of course, Boeheim will probably be gone before the sanctions actually come down.
