    Really need Reyna and Dest to be healthy next cycle, and the full MMA midfield available. Also, Antonee Robinson was terrible last night. I know he's been solid, but he constantly killed our attacks on the left with poor touch and overdribbling

    Took a look at Gray's Road starts: 6+ innings: Arizona (2); San Diego (3) <6: Pittsburgh (made another start 5 days later, only going 3 at home, and then hit the IL); Washington, Arizona, LAD (3), Houston, SF, Atlanta, Milwaukee so 7 of his 15 road starts were against playoff teams, and all 3 SD starts were prior to the trade deadline, when SD fell apart. So 10 of 15 were against good teams, another was made right before a stint on the injured list probably doesn't really mean anything, but interesting nonetheless

    Yeah this was a masterclass from GGG & the players. Shout out to the el tri community, tho. Going to be harder than ever for them to convince themselves they’re still better. They’ve got their work cut out for them. The craziest part is still who do you bench if everyone in the attack is healthy. Weah has been so, so good. I’m starting to see the 2026 hope. This is a really good team. Which reminds me that this is the last Mexico home qualifier for 8 years. OF COURSE we had to dos a cero. Musah to the bench with Reyna playing centrally? And then whoever is in the best form between Aaronson and Weah plays opposite Pulisic.

    I'm only worried about the ballhandling for ASU, not the season in total. They've got some decent players and we could end up with an ugly looking loss if neither Trent nor Curbelo can play. I don't think it'll be a problem. Hahahaha, wow what a difference those two make. And Coleman Hawkins might just be making a leap

    That was a hideously ugly game. Honestly a bit worried about Arkansas State on Friday if they don't have at least one of Curbelo or Frazier available. Not overly concerned, it was the first game and none of their top 4 scoring options were present. If anything it was one of their few chances this season to get a serious look at the back half of the rotation with some serious minutes, but there is nothing of value to take away in terms of overall team expectations from this one. I'm only worried about the ballhandling for ASU, not the season in total. They've got some decent players and we could end up with an ugly looking loss if neither Trent nor Curbelo can play.

    DPI should have been illegal contact or defensive holding at best... 5 yards rather than 25... Evans moved early on the 2nd play... but this is going to be a bloodbath.

    Yeah, he needs to get regular minutes against better competition than MLS can offer. Ajax would be perfect.

    He’s stepping down and not getting fired for cause, so getting his $$$. Apparently, the AD didn’t have faith in any of his assistants to be interim HC either. Guessing they didn't want anyone fluking their way into a few wins and feeling any kind of pressure from players, etc. to keep them on. Letting O coach means they can completely clean house at the end of the year without any of that in the way.

    Technically, they traded Elton Brand for Chandler and picked Curry... so they never really had a chance at Gasol, since the Clippers owned the 2nd pick. And from what I read in "Boys Among Men" by Jonathan Abrams (about the prep to pro generation) Krause only made the deal for Chandler after Gasol was picked at 3 and he knew he could pair Chandler and Curry

    I really want the Dodgers to win against the Cards, so I can tell all my Cardinals fan friends (living in southern IL, it's hard to avoid) that they may have had a better overall season, but the Cubs still won more games in October than they did

    Legit. I think I’m ready to call for a HC change. I decided to watch the rest of the team today rather than just Mertz. Everyone here is getting all over Mertz but the problems go way, way beyond him. How do you go from a play away from a Rose bowl win to bottom feeder in the space of one COVID shortened season. It’s time for heads to roll. By the way, a horrible epiphany hit me around the 3rd Q today. I realized that I get to watch Nagy offense on both Saturday and Sunday each week. Loads of fun up here in Madison… Should probably promote Jim Leonhard...

    This series is a win-win kinda deal for the Cubs. If they win a game or two, St. Louis' win streak is over, and we can give Cards fans crap about not being able to beat the worst Cubs team in 7 years. If they keep losing - better draft position.
