I doubt it will be that order. what would be yours? I can easily see Bama jumping some teams with their win on the road (compared to LSU's "meh" win against Miss St. at home). The question is whether they'll move MIzzou up on a bye week.

I considered this a good test for the PSU defense, as OSU is going to run a very similar offense. After those first couple of scoring drives, the PSU linebackers adjusted well to all the option plays out of the shotgun. Should be interesting to see how Pryor runs that offense compared to Juice. and do we see three Big XII teams in the Top 5 this week? I can see: 1. OU 2. Mizzou 3. Bama 4. LSU 5. Texas

Georgia should never have been the preseason #1. I predicted at least 2 losses for them.

I would be extremely surprised if they have 3 WRs drafted in the first two rounds. In fact, I bet none of them is a first rounder, and I wouldn't be surprised to see none of them go in the second or third round either. Norwood is really small, Williams has never played up to his potential, and Butler doesn't have great combine-type numbers and is small. On second thought, Williams will probably go in the 2nd or 3rd...but i'm really not sure about the other 2. Especially Norwood. That's not to say that they aren't a great group of college wide receivers, but I don't think they're 1st/2nd round NFL talent. Williams will be a day one pick, the other two won't be (imo, of course). yeah, you're probably right. all three are undersized.

I'm still tempering my enthusiasm about Penn State despite the ridiculous offense. How they handle a spread offense with a mobile QB tonight will give a better gauge on how they might be able to handle Terrelle Pryor down the road. I'm not worried about their defense against more conservative offenses like Wisconsin. Considering the school's history, it's pretty unbelievable that PSU will probably have 3 WR's drafted in the first round or two this April

Which would beg the question: Is a two loss SEC team better then a 1 loss Non-Sec team? Anybody who knows my conference loyalty knows the answer to that question. But I will say it would also depend on who the non-Sec team is. But if LSU proved last yr is that a 2 loss SEC team was better clearly better then what the Big 10 had to offer (and Michigan had to hang on against Florida). Right now the NT game would be Oklahoma and........whoever survives at the end of the season. But we know things should and will change between now and Jan. What a ridiculous all-encompassing question. Love that Michigan had to "hang on" against Florida. Nevermind, that EVERYONE said Florida was clearly superior to Michigan. And then they lost. And the answer still holds true...Michigan last yr while a good team, still barely hung on and beat the Gators regardless of what Big 10 homers say. And my opinion still is...a 2 loss SEC team is better then 90% 1 loss no SEC teams. If you can't deal with it, that's your problem. I would take Alabama/Georgia/LSU/Florida against other conferences best teams anyday of the week. So save your mocking for your fellow Big 10 fans, or whichever conference holds your loyalty. I don't think there is a single Big Ten fan on here who believes the league is as good as the SEC. It's clearly not. I've yet to see anyone argue it is. However, Michigan beat Florida last year. They were supposed to get blown out. They didn't; they won the game. Who cares if they "barely hung on"? I fail to see what point you are trying to argue here. no, I don't think the Big Ten is as good as the SEC, but that hasn't stopped them from having a winning record against them head-to-head in the last 8 bowl seasons

I think the point of the thread was regarding whether he should make the playoff roster over Ward, not replace Lee as the everyday starter at first. i think people are suggesting he start in RF if DeRosa isn't healthy There aren't exactly an abundance of great options for that spot if DeRosa doesn't play. so we're completely writing off Kosuke now?
