    Duensing seems like a nice guy and was great last year but how much longer do we have to watch him go out there this year before we DFA him? The phantom injury DL trip didn't work.

    I'm just thinking out loud. Albertos was very recently our top prospect and and is still very young and has potential. He's having a very forgettable year. Because of that are we saying he is now actually useless as a trade chip/prospect?

    Interesting trade. Going off this then, would something like Albertos for Tyson Ross and Kirby Yates be something people would be willing to do?

    I'm gonna assume that Clint Frazier and possibly Billy McKinney are in any deal. Maybe Chance Adams. And would the Yankees then demote Andujar or is he included in a deal too? They have the prospects necessary to make it happen......

    Q has a 3.00 ERA and decent peripherals if you take out his first 4 starts. I haven't been worried about him. Is Hendricks' velo ok? He had a rough patch there but was electric in his last start.

    Rosters announced tonight. I'd think Baez, Contreras and Lester would be locks. This time last year, we were 2 games under .500 and Wade Davis was our only All Star.

    This seems like an odd trade Jackson is having a bad year but is still useful and cheap. Gearrin is a useful middle reliever. Bahr was the Giants' 5th rounder last year and has some good numbers in the minors thus far.

    I enjoy this "let's see how many relievers we can get in the pen this season" routine. Haven't seen anything like it since that great 2013 season. Who remembers that: Alex Burnett Alberto Cabrera Hisanori Takahashi Eduardo Sanchez Zach Putnam Chang-yong Lim Kameron Loe Henry Rodriguez (not that one) Brooks Raley Shawn Camp Michael Bowden all pitched out of the pen that year at some point?

    I like our rotation as is. Darvish comes back soon. Monty has been an incredible 6th man. I'd like to see Mills get a shot as a spot starter and Butler at some point should be back too. Wouldn't be bad to invest in another starter but I wouldn't give up what it would take to get Bundy, unless he gets added to a Machado deal and we're dead set on doing that for Russell/Happ and someone like Albertos.

    I've liked Lugo for some time too, but for all those same reasons are probably why the Mets won't trade him for anything short of a good haul. They should do some rebuilding and he's controllable and effective.
