Is there any realistic chance Demp/Marquis + prospect would net us crisp? If I'm not mistaken, Boston doesn't want him anymore and would readily move him in a trade. Marquis/ Dempster and mid level prospect might do it. They may still demand more, but seeing as how they have a hole in their rotation, they could be desparate.

Ok I will remember that....he is God.. because he posts on a Cub message board alot. Gotcha and also LSU > UF Of course, LSU is better than UF. Check out the sig. And no, he's usually right because he has an outstanding understanding of the metrics that determine the value of a baseball player. Ok.. Metrics don't determine how good a baseball player is lol. Just numbers. They are a very good indicator of how well a player will perform and how important to his team he is. Does it determine the pitchers he is facing? The ball park he is in? There are SO many more factorts then that. Guys, Jessie figured it all out. The King is dead, long live the king. Is that all cubs fan know? Smart ass comments? What team are you a fan of, smart guy? OK, I know I am late to this party and you all know the punch line, but I had to comment before I read farther. Please, Please, PLEASE somebody tell me that JessE is not a 19-20 year old Yankees fan trying to argue with Meph!! I don't think I could take that, =D> He admitted to being a Pirates fan, which made it even better.

Well im out of here... And if the Cubs fans were so smart how come they have no won a world series in 100 years? Thats pretty amazing... But nice talking with you guys.. I can see why this message board is a piece of ****... But its ok.. Good luck this year.. Playing for 2nd place should be fun (brewers). And I know the Pirates suck, but if we spend 100 million every off season we could buy this division also. Someone had a bad day. Seriously, you started it, and didn't help you case with personal attacks.

Your right.. Numbers mean everything.. Have you seen the way you figure out NFL quarterback ratings? So that is a good way to judge a quarterback?
