  1. We're not saying you're entirely wrong, you just haven't provided the strongest arguement. im saying hes entirely wrong. Well, yeah

  3. Jake needs to get on here and prove that all Pirates fans aren't like this.
  4. Wow very good 3rd grade comeback... Did you pick that up from the Kids you teach? No. They're a little sharper than that. For example they know the correct forms of they're, their, and there. Most of them know the difference between quite and quiet too. How about your and you're? and its and it's?
  5. Wouldn't it be funny if JesseG was just a fake account that Meph created to toy with us? But seriously, Jesse, chill out.
  6. Ok I will remember that....he is God.. because he posts on a Cub message board alot. Gotcha and also LSU > UF Of course, LSU is better than UF. Check out the sig. And no, he's usually right because he has an outstanding understanding of the metrics that determine the value of a baseball player. Ok.. Metrics don't determine how good a baseball player is lol. Just numbers. They are a very good indicator of how well a player will perform and how important to his team he is. Does it determine the pitchers he is facing? The ball park he is in? There are SO many more factorts then that. Guys, Jessie figured it all out. The King is dead, long live the king. Is that all cubs fan know? Smart ass comments? That and advanced metrics. we also know that you won't last through the night. CT's pulling an all-nighter. Get him in on the fun!

  9. JessE... and Is he always right? Or does he argue with you, until you get so sick of even trying to argue that you just give up. Both
  10. I'm a pro-Roberts guy, but even that deal is pushing it a little. I'd probably do it, but grudgingly.
  11. Jessie, take it easy man. Not worth getting riled up over, Also, since you're new, I take it you don't know Meph well. He's always right.
  12. Dusty will convince Krivsky that it's a good trade for them and those 3 "youngins" won't ever perform as well as the veterans.
  13. Maybe they'll trade us Peralta.
  14. What would those be if you were really negative?
  15. Soto- .267/.335/.450 Lee- .291/.375/.511 Brian Rob, I mean, Mark DeRosa- .274/.356/.415 Riot- .266/.328/.370 Ramirez- .301/.368/.553 Fukudome- .270/.363/.475 Pie- .255/.317/.410 Soriano- .286/.339/.522 Zambrano- 3.66/1.39 Lilly- 4.11/1.28 Hill- 4.03/1.31 Lieber- 4.68/1.27 Marquis- 5.12/1.55 Dempster- 5.01/1.50 Wood- 3.77/1.34 Howry- 3.44/1.21 Marmol- 4.00/1.33
  16. There may have been a time where Ramon Garcia was an ok pitcher. That time has long since come and gone. Yeah, Ramon Garcia had a 108 ERA+ and 1.305 WHIP in 1997, with Houston, but his 3 years in the bigs are little if any information other than he stunk. Ramon Ortiz though, hasn't been above average since 2004, and horrid the last few years. I'd rather use Marquis/Marshall/Gallagher/Lieber for the last 2 spots.
  17. If you think Jeff Francoeur is one of the worst RF in baseball....remind me to never take anything you say serious again. Yeah, pretty ridiculous. I don't understand the Eric Byrnes one either. Yeah, this may have been a fluke year for Byrnes, but he's been average to above average almsot every season. There are worse left fielders. And I don't really get Broussard/ Shelton unless you couldn't think of anyone better (or worse in this case).
  18. As if Marlon Byrd is significantly better (completely disregarding last season).
