  1. Watching the All-Star game introductions. 4 Ducks is nice, but wtf? No Devils? Did I miss something?
  2. Why do people here keep slamming people on other team's boards as if they're saying these things just to mess wih us? Some of us are WAY too wound up over this. I'm agreeing with you a lot. Watch out, though. Someone is going to call you out for coming to the defense of the insiders. I have no knowledge of who is who on the Orioles board except for what was posted earlier in this thread. I will point out though, that the only labeled insider talking about the Cubs and Roberts during this whole thread on Bedard appears to be a new poster to the Orioles board with a supposed Cubs source whose veracity is openly questioned on the board. Link to Orioles Hangout Insider Re-cap. Their board has been a joke as far as inside information. According to them, Roberts was traded to the Cubs weeks ago. Wooo, we got Brian Roberts!!!!!!!!
  3. But hasn't been seen since. :( Do you suppose the PECOTA is still out there? Somewhere? I like to think so. He's in a great place where he can freely ride his motorcycle while encouraging young ballplayers.
  4. The man who defeated David Glass.
  5. Haven't the O's recently expressed interest in getting Marquis in the Roberts trade?
  6. Are you serious or are you poking fun at those guys at Oriole hangout? He's kidding. And if I hear this deal is "very close" one more time my head may explode.
  7. If we're going for a pitcher, I'd concur on Wade LeBlanc.
  8. If Hendry's looking for a position player in return and actually does not want an infielder, I'd take a look at Chad Huffman. However, he is similar to Murton, making the trade rather pointless.
  9. Compare to the 2007 Boise rotation: Huseby (19) - 3.39 ERA, 8.28 H/9, 0.95 HR/9, 4.21 BB/9, 7.19 K/9 Sasser (21) - 4.59 ERA, 8.91 H/9, 0.56 HR/9, 3.34 BB/9, 7.10 K/9 Ashwood (21) - 3.28 ERA, 9.05 H/9, 0.31 HR/9, 3.28 BB/9, 7.65 K/9 Cabrera (18) - 5.40 ERA, 9.62 H/9, 0.94 HR/9, 4.23 BB/9, 7.75 K/9 Hempy (23) - 4.70 ERA, 7.92 H/9, 1.17 HR/9, 3.23 BB/9, 9.68 K/9 Ouch.
  10. My guy says it is. No, my guy does. You called him a basterd and said you wouldn't trust him. You're mistaken. That was my other guy. Oh, ok. My bad.
  11. My guy says it is. No, my guy does. You called him a basterd and said you wouldn't trust him.
  12. Everytime I think we have a bad GM, I jsut think about how bad the San Fran fans must feel. Trading a top young pitcher straight up for a broken down third baseman is not intelligent decision making.
  13. Yeah, I wore my Brodeur shirt today and flaunted it in front of my Flyer friends. And I like the Ducks, but they do lay rather dirty. Parros, Pronger, Moen, Bertuzzi, etc beat the crap out of people. Though, Parros does have an awesome/ intimidating mustache: http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2007/0412/nhl_g_parros_412.jpg
