  1. Vikings got Berrian. Woooo!
  2. http://draysbay.com/images/admin/bonds.jpg Jeez, he could at least try to smile He's playing for the Rays (or would be). Would you smile if you were on that team?
  3. If that's an indication of how this season will go, shoot me now.
  4. what ev? What are you like 75? Its called "w/e" I know, like, totally, seriously.
  5. Ross isn't terrible and he'll be cheaper than Byrd.
  6. First day of FA is progressing nicely.
  7. Actually no. I hope its only a 3 for 1 deal now with the players said above. I wouldn't mind if Ceda was repalced with Veal, in fact I would like that deal much better. I am happy Murton isn't part of the rumors we are hearing anymore. I could live without Ceda and Cedeno. Gallagher will be missed, but like said earlier (I think Raw said it) we have to give up talent to get talent. I'd rather give up Veal instead as well. Agreed. I think both have good attributes, but I like Ceda's chances better of producing in the majors. I wish we could sub Marshall for Gallagher as well, since we apparantly don't want him in the rotation, but you gotta do, what you gotta do. Gallagher, Cedeno, Veal for Roberts, I can live with.
  8. stealing bases by itself isn't bad. stealing bases and getting caught 30% of the time is bad. Exactly. That's what makes Juan Pierre one of the most useless players in the sport.
  9. It just keeps getting better for the Cards:
  10. I'll save you the wait. Sean Marshall will look high. Will Ohman will look insane (oh, wait).... And Ted Lilly will look like he wants to kill the photographer...
  11. Regardless of power, hes sporting a .032 IsoD in a season and a half of minor league ball. Thats somewhat palpable for a guy who only strikes out 10% of the time, but Colvin does not have that type of contact rate. If the power develops he'll be a 270/300/460 type of guy. La-dee-freakin-da. If only he could fill out and decide to take a walk or two. .270/.330/.500 I'll take it.
  12. What the crap does this have to do with Soriano leading off? I thought this was the immortal Brian Roberts thread. it was 215 pages ago Oh ok.
  13. Too bad he didn't beat up anyone or pick on Jeter/ARod.

  15. In response to Bob, yeah, it was an average article. Dragged on a little and while describing a scene and painting a pitcure for the reader is nice, who cares what color shirt he was wearing? Sorry, journalist critique. I did like the overall point of the article, though. And I love that picture.
  16. I say let him:
  17. He had a pretty decent career. Enjoy retirement.
