  1. How old is he? He's always been a solid goalie. Solid? Ok..he sucks. I'm still bitter over 95, all right! :cray: I thought I was over it until you brought it up again!!!! I Hate Brodeur You guys only hate him because of how awesome he is and how he puts your goalies to shame.
  2. I really wish I had listened. I couldn't get past the first few grafs. That's mind-numbingly bad.
  3. I'm pretty sure Beane would shoot himself in the face by midseason. Beane: Why was Cust batting 8th today? Dusty: He doesn't run well. I didn't want him clogging bases. Beane: What about his .417 OBP? He gets on to set up the heart of the order for RBI chances. Dusty: Nah, dude, he's clogging the bases and won't go anywhere. Beane: But he has an OBP over .400! Dusty: Yeah, but who cares? He's only batting .251, which means that the dude can't hit. I don't want him batting near the top of the order. It's like the last time I went fishing... [incoherent 10 minute long fishing analogy] Dusty: You see dude, it's just like that. Beane: Ok, sure, one sec... Billy Beane has shot himself.
  4. That's shocking, unless they didn't feel he would be healthy enough. Their rotation isn't very good behind Shawn Hill.
  5. Wuertz + for this guys doesn't seem very sensible. If that's the case, I'd rather keep Wuertz.
  6. Marshall, I'd assume? no, they have a long guy that they will move to a starter. Think relievers. Eyre?
  7. I'm in two leagues this year. First team is 12 team league and second team is 10 team league. First team: c- GEOVANY SOTO 1b- Nick Swisher 2b- Orlando Hudson ss- Hanley Ramirez 3b- A-Ram OF- Carlos Beltran, Hunter Pence, Pat Burrell Util- Ryan Garko, Jeremy Hermida Bench- Michael Bourn, Asdrubal Cabrera, Billy Butler, Mike Napoli SP- Big Z, Chris Young RP- Huston Street, Matt Capps P- Rich Hill, Jered Weaver, Matt Garza Bench- Gil Meche, Kerry Wood League 2: c- GEOVANY SOTO 1b- Prince Fielder 2b- BJ Upton ss- Miguel Tejada 3b- A-Ram of- Carlos Lee, Adam Dunn, Nick Markakis Util- Torii Hunter Bench- Garko, Howie Kendrick, Jhonny Peralta, Johnny Damon SP- Johan Santana, Javier Vazquez RP- Takashi Saito, Chad Cordero P- Kelvim Escobar, Pedro, Brad Penny Bench- Oliver Perez
  8. How old is he? He's always been a solid goalie. He'll be 36 in May. 11 straight seasons with at least 37 wins. 7 of which were over 40.
  9. link Cubs' lineup doesn't make me very happy.
  10. Hahaha, nice. Demp was probably one of the masterminds.
  11. Said it before, and I'l say it again. I would want this lineup: Roberts Fukudome Lee Ramirez Soriano Soto Pie Theriot but instead we'll get this: Soriano Roberts Lee Ramirez Fukudome Soto Pie Theriot or this: Roberts Theriot Lee Ramirez Soriano Fukudome Soto Pie
  12. Willits or Figgins? It's gotta be Willits. SH player who can fill in at a bunch of positions, including CF, and is rumored to be sent down to the minors by the Angels. In fact, a Marquis for Willits trade seems so logical, considering the Angels pitching woes (Lackey and Escobar both injured). Angels fans would probably want a prospect thrown in as well. How about Lahey? Is he really gonna make this team?
  13. How bout we offer them Koyie Hill or Hank White :P
  14. Yeah, you kinda left us hanging, unless we are to assume its the balks.
