    I rather how Marshall in AAA as a starter, where he is better suited for, then at the major league as a reliever, in which he would be a square forced into a circle. At least in AAA as a starter, he can keep his arm loose, and stretch out in case of an injury. It's not that the Cubs hate Marshall, quite the opposite, it's there is no room. Dempster getting moved to the rotation and Lieber/ Marquis being signed created no room.

    This sucks for all of the people repeatedly rumored to be traded (Murton, Gallagher, Roberts), plus DeRosa. This wasn't very well executed. that is the understatement of the ---SOAPDROPPING--- year baby!

    Wow, he is a terrible GM. He's making bad decisions for the wrong team. What a clown. The reference is just about him being the one to trade Liriano, along with Joe Nathan and Boof Bonser for AJ Pierzynski... of all people. It was topical, but not particularly well executed. That was such a bad trade, at the time and in hindsight.

    I would pay any amount of money to see Ryan Howard take BP with an aluminum bat Him or Dunn would make the ball literally scream just like the old BBTN graphic. Imagine Sammy in his prime hitting with an aluminum bat. Or better yet, Glen Allen Hill...sweet lord. :shock:
