That entire ending was superb. From Denard Walker tripping to allow Bruce to catch the eventual game winning TD to McNair throwing off Mo Lewis and Kevin Carter to complete a pass to Mason on the second to last play and then Dyson coming up a yard short to end it. I wish the result had been different, but that was a great ending. We wouldn't have gotten nearly that close on the final drive without McNair. Agreed. Arguably one of the best Super Bowls ever, if not the best. I wish we won, but man it was still exciting. Air McNair was our catalyst.

He says he feels comfortable there, but it's uncomfortable for the rest of us to watch him suck at the No. 1 spot. Bump him down in the lineup and see what happens.

Doubtful. Hendry isn't going to admit his mistake and release Miles and I doubt the Rockies want him. Freel will be the one on his way out most likely. -
I'm not happy with the Devils. I wanted Havlat, Cammalleri and Mike Komisarek. We got none of the above. Meanwhile, Gionta, Madden and others all gone. Granted, I didn't want to overpay to keep them and I know Lou isn't a big player in the FA market, but what gives? We're gonna be playing all rookies next season?

Interesting. Baker has some nice upside but why did we wait so long? A-Ram is gonna be back in a few days. He does add nice depth though. I hope we didn't give up much. -

I'm happy the Devils re-signed Oduya, but I'd be ecstatic if they signed Komisarek. Knowing the Devils, they'll sit on their hands and grab the leftover scraps at the end of the summer.

Do you have a scouting report for Eric Erickson? All I know is that he was all-freshman a few years ago and had TJS recently. I don't have a scouting report, but I do have a lecture for his parents. If your last name is Erickson, DO NOT NAME YOUR FREAKIN' KID ERIC! But, at least thanks for not naming him Erick. Do you plan on giving that same lecture to Dan McDaniel's parents? Depends on whether Dan is short for Danica, Dante or Daniel. Daniel McDaniel is hilarious.

I believe is selling high, and Wells' value is pretty high right now, but I wouldn't trade him for Bell straight up. -
They have some pieces we could acquire that might not cost much. Clint Barmes and Ryan Spilborghs wouldn't necessarily come cheap but I don't think the Rockies would ask for a king's ransom. The same goes for Huston Street. I'm just spitballing here for ideas, but the Rockies are seven games out of first and I can't see them catching the Dodgers. Discuss.
