    Sanchez is a good hitter but he doesn't do anything else. If he hits below .280 he's useless. I don't know why everyone is in love with him, especially given his pricey 2010 option.

    Look at my post. BA has Diaz as one of the more polished shortstops in the Sox system. If Wilson is in the deal, shouldn't the Pirates be getting more though?

    Pitcher Hunter Strickland and shortstop Argenis Diaz is the return. Diaz was the Sox No. 17 prospect per BA and Strickland wasn't in the top 30.

    I'm sure we could get Aaron Hill, just have to take back either Vernon Wells or Alexis Rios. Id take Rios if theyd take one of our outfielders. That would make things way too easy. They're salary dumping. They won't take any of our guys.

    While the Sox would be willing to eat most of his remaining salary, he isn't much better than what we have.

    Adam Kennedy- fluke year Orlando Cabrera- not going to get any better, won't post a better OPS than the current guys Mark Ellis- probably the best of the bunch, and he isn't better than what we have Bobby Crosby- will never be good Beane will rape Hendry if we trade for any of these guys. End of discussion.
