especially since most of your guys play early today. i've only had one AB today. and i've got kent, gonzo and street playing late afternoon games, and i don't think you have anybody...unless bonds shows up. also, if you're following the score based on sportsline's gamecenter, lee's rbi hasn't been added yet. and i'm terrified of david wright.

i could have used more than one pont from c lee, who was batting w/ the bags loaded and no outs. heh...giambi is the only guy sitting for the yanks today. i guess the yanks don't want the red sox in the playoffs.

why the hell does pujols keep playing? i hope he gets hurt and the cards get swept in embarrassing fashion. :evil: i bet cano and matsui sit for me today.

that's what i thought to...18.15. looks like i'm up 22.7 going into the final day. i had figured i'd be up 23.5, but my math must have been messed up. i feel like if i get two homers and a save tomorrow, i should be good. unfortunately, i have a feeling that some of my guys won't be playing.

my texas guys put up some points in the late innings. jeff kent's moustache remains unmussed after a sorely needed night off. after all, he's only got five months off starting monday. i should be up around 20 going into tomorrow.

Huston nearly blew the save earlier today, too. I end the championship campaign with a 3-14 percentage of quality starts, I believe I racked up 11 losses in those starts, too. I could really use some at bats for Barry. :( BTW - I'm really looking forward to seeing what Wright will do in his age 23 season. :D blalock for wright? :D i'm up by enough that i think if i could just get a couple homers, i'd have it. but that isn't happening. this power drought i'm going through right now is crazy. i'd just take a homer from teix and one from kent tonight...then i can feel good about things going into tomorrow. thank goodness they took johnson out...i needed that QS.

you gotta be kidding me...johnson is one out away from getting through six shutout innings. a dropped third strike and a couple of infield hits later, he's given up three. please take him out now. and david wright needs to cool it with his [expletive].

\ eh...it was close i suppose. isu was lucky to get to OT after nebraska fumbled trying to set up a game winning FG in regulation. isu didn't really impress me.

heh...len says to prevent the cubs from signing another starter, rusch, williams, and hill need to make the cubs' decision by pitching well. that will be especially tough for hill, and his 2 innings last month.

i hope pujols pulls a hamstring and misses the postseason..two homers and seven rbis in the last two days. patterson trying to top wakefield's [expletive] outing today.

wakefield's first inning couldn't have gone much worse for me. six yankees bat, and the only ones NOT to score points are the two yankees i have.

you're complaining when you still have me outscored by 39 and out-start me the rest of the week by 3-1? I need your guys to throw disaster starts and I need a huge outing from Patterson to narrow this gap down the 21 point deficit I need. Interesting...I just looked at the scheduled starters to confirm that and you seem to have lost a start, if I'm not mistaken. Or did you have six already? Did the outing from Perez give you six on the week? i think i have two left...wakefield and johnson. tracy said weaver wouldn't start sunday unless the game meant something, so i subbed perez in for him. so on the week, i had... johnsonx2 wakefieldx2 perez byrd rogers so seven for the week...i've already had one from everybody, so i have the two x2 guys going once more. even though you've narrowed the gap, i gotta feel that my offense will have a good day one either today or tomorrow and give me a boost. plus, i wouldn't be surprised to see pujols rest a game or two...same w/ berkman if they clinch.

huh...looks like they made a scoring change in the sea/tex game last night that turned rogers' start into a QS. i was wondering how my points were so high this morning... that's two really junky QS for me this week.

well, i'm only up 65. also, that means i'm only up 45 since you won last week by 20, correct? also, i've subbed perez in for today's start since weaver won't make his scheduled sunday start. for some reason, perez isn't showing up in the gamecenter part, but hopefully he will later today.

ok, so now dellucci is back. am i supposed to put him back in there? i really don't care who i have out there (especially since it seems like i've been picking the wrong guy for a week and a half), i just want to be going by the rules.

heh...you gotta be [expletive] me! i stick with dellucci for a week when the rangers keep saying he'll be back the next day...doesn't play, doesn't play, etc. i finally give up on him and bench him today, and he comes back tonight....and he homers in his 2nd ab!
