    Who knows, we may end up getting something for Eyre. Remember, we got Jose Ceda for Todd Walker and Kevin Hart(who hasnt completely discredited himself yet) for Freddy freaking Bynum, so you never know. A quality, veteran lefty will never go jobless with so many contenders in need of relief.

    Following up on Gaudin getting the win over the weekend when he blew the lead. I thought the official scorekeeper had discretion about giving wins out to a reliever? Wouldnt this have been a perfect time to use this discretion? Both of them would be perfect opportunities but it rarely if ever actually happens in the bigs. IMHO, if a pitcher gives up the lead, and then the offense comes back and gets the lead the next half inning, that pitcher should never be in line for the win.

    Seriosuly, Howry needs to go. I csnt remember the last time he didnt give up any runs, or a least come close. Any status update on Lieber? Wuertz? Guzman? Hell, Chad Fox would be an upgrade at this point.
