Eyre didnt deserve to be DFAd, but the fact is Lou trusts Cotts and Marshall more, and so do I. Dont feel too sorry for Eyre. He'll be on a new team in no time. Both the Yankees and Red Sox were showing interest at the deadline, so he'll more than likely end up with one of them. The Brewers could be a possible destination as well.

All I know is if we hang on, it will be the first time the Cubs have made back to back PO appearences in 100 years. Hopefully, this time we'll get the same end result. -

Today, the Brewers have McClung or Bush vs. Volquez, so it definitely doesnt favor them. With Marquis vs. Backe tommorow, this ones in our favor, as was last nights, so we need to take this one.

Because 5 innings is an official game, and if they dont get it in tonight, its over. Plus you dont want them going too late tonight anyway with a day game tommorow.

They'll do their best to get the game in because it's later in the season, a contender is involved and there are so many outs remaining. They can just finish the game with MLB 2K5. I predict David Kelton ends it with a walkoff.

My preposal is that after 5, if 1 team leads by 5 runs, its a game, otherwise, it has to go 7. I mean its ridiculous to call a game over when your down by 2 with 4 innings left to go.

Clearly Fielder simply saw Parra as a 6ft hot dog and could not hold back any longer. Instead of attacking the water cooler like Z after a bad inning, Parra took it out on the post game buffet.
